WWE Survivor Series: Matches and Other Things I Want To See at the PPV

The Jonathan CooneyyOct 25, 2010

Now that Bragging Rights is over it is time to move on to one of the biggest PPV's of the year.

Last year at Survivor Series stars like Batista, Jericho, Triple H, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels were present at the event and for this years PPV we are almost certain not to see any of the five greats.

So how can WWE produce quality matches without these star men.

Edge Vs Kane; For The World Heavyweight Championship

1 of 6

With Taker six feet under who else deserves a World Title shot more than the Rated R Superstar?

Edge eliminated more people than any other in the Bragging Rights RAW vs SmackDown match and he also won the match for his home brand, SmackDown.

Edge vs Kane may be a match we have seen several times in the past but both men are on top of their games at the moment and their work in the ring is pretty damn close to perfect.

Ever since SummerSlam Kane has been on a roll dominated his brother Kane and every other man who has come into contact with him including Chris Masters, Rey Mysterio and John Cena.

Edge has beat stars like Jack Swagger (twice) and current Inercontenental Champion, Dolph Ziggler!

See what I am saying?

Tyler Black Make His WWE In-Ring Debution

2 of 6

Tyler Black is a world class athlete who dominated Ring of Honour and the rest of the Indies before signing with WWE in August.

He debuted in FCW under the ring name Seth Rollins.

He lost his first match to Michael McGilliculty. Yes, you heard that correctly.

Tyler Black has wrestled and beat top stars like Austin Aries and Nigel McGuiness.

If there is any area that Black needs to improve, it is most certainly his mic skills.

If you think about it all WWE legends have top skills on the mic. Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels all fit in that department.

I can't wait to see Black face former ROH guys like Bourne, Punk and also Bryan Danielson as well as new WWE stars who have never battled Black; Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton, just to name a few.

Tyler Black is going to be a huge star in WWE given the right push.

CM Punk In Singles Competition and Seeing Him Win Is Something I Want To See

3 of 6

Seeing him and the rest of the Straight Edge Society getting squashed at the hands of The Big Show and Rey Mysterio was hard to watch for any fan of The Straight Edge Saviour.

I believe that Punk's recent move to RAW will open up a lot of doors for him and create some new fresh storylines.

I know I can't expect to be seeing Punk vs Orton straight away following his move to RAW but I do expect to see him in good, fresh rivalries against the likes of Danielson, John Cena and The Miz before challenging for the title.

Punk's part in the Bragging Rights 7 on 7 match was good he had a long stint in the match and even eliminated SmackDown star Alberto Del Rio.

This could be starting point of what puts Punk's decorated career back on track.

A Memorable Moment For Us Fans To Talk About In Years To Come

4 of 6

Survivor Series 1997 gave us the Montreal Screwjob and Survivor Series 2008 gave us the In-Ring return of stars John Cena and the Edge.

So what does 2010's edition of Survivor Series have in store for us?

Hopefully something to remember in years and years to come.

Justin Gabriel Vs Daniel Bryan; Us Championship On The Line

5 of 6

David Otunga and John Cena winning the Tag Titles was a pleseant suprise and a change.

I am not the biggest fan of David Otunga but I honestly never thought any Nexus member other than Wade Barrett would win any sort of title.

Gabriel vs Bryan would be an exciting match and one that in years to come could probably main event WrestleMania.

I think seeing Nexus with all available title would put their stomp in WWE history.

Evolution were the only team (in memory) who achieved such dominance.

Goldust Vs DiBiase Rematch With Million Dollar Title On The Line!

6 of 6

I really enjoyed their match at Bragging Rights and I was shocked that WWE did not take advantage of the fact that the sroyline was created because of Goldusts love for DiBiase Million Dollar Title.

What I am trying to say is they should of put the title on the line instead of have Aksanna flirt with Ted.

The title being on the line would give the winner a clear push by been giving the chance to defend it.
