Tampa Bay Buccaneers Flush Jerramy Stevens

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have rightfully said "good night" to Jerramy Stevens.

He's gone, outta here, adios, good riddance.

In case you weren't checking the police blotter on Saturday evening, Stevens was busted for possession with intent to sell, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The old cannabis in the truck situation.

Happened about an hour before he was to report to the team's hotel at 8 p.m.

Nice way to get ready for Sunday.

The Bucs released Stevens on Monday and hurray for the Bucs. Well done.

Stevens was a turd who needed to be flushed.

He was a bad guy from the start, a rotten apple from the Jon Gruden-Bruce Allen days, a bad guy at Washington and now a bad guy the Bucs want no part of.

Sure he'd catch a pass now and then but as a blocker he was fairly useless.

The Bucs will promote Ryan Purvis to take Stevens' place on the roster.

Purvis will be another bright young face on a bright young team with what seems like a very bright future.

So in the words of Al Pacino in the movie Scarface:  "Say goodnight to the bad guy."

Good night Jerramy Stevens, hope we never see you again.
