With only one game remaining in Week 7, it is time to make some predictions for next week.
The Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets and Detroit Lions are all coming off bye weeks and will be hoping that the extra rest and practice will benefit them this coming NFL weekend.
So much parity exists this season in the NFL, and anything could happen in Week 8.
Could the Buffalo Bills finally add a win to their record?
Will the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets and New England Patriots continue to dominate the league?
Read on to find out!
Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs
1 of 13
Favorite: Chiefs at -7.5
Take the Points: The Buffalo Bills have yet to win a game this season, but most of their games have been relatively close. They even kept within three points against the Ravens...in Baltimore! If the Bills could play the the Ravens close, they definitely have a shot at beating the Chiefs, but traveling to Arrowhead will be a tough task for Buffalo. They won't get the win, but it will be closer than seven points.
Predicted Final Score: Bills 21, Chiefs 24
Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys
2 of 13
Favorite: Cowboys at -11
Take the Points: Sure, the Cowboys' one win was by 14 points against the Houston Texans, but that was their only victory so far this season. The 'Boys will be coming off a short week after a rough game against the New York Giants, and they'll get the win...just not by 11 points.
Predicted Final Score: Jags 20, Cowboys 27
Washington Redskins at Detroit Lions
3 of 13
Favorite: Lions at -1
Give the Points: I have been impressed with both of these teams all season. The Redskins have pulled off wins despite their lacking defense, and the Lions are much better than their record indicates. The Lions get the win at home.
Predicted Final Score: Redskins 24, Lions 27
Miami Dolpins at Cincinnati Bengals
4 of 13
Favorite: Bengals at -2.5
Take The Points: The Bengals haven't done anything this season to lead me to believe that they could beat the Miami Dolphins. I gave Carson Palmer the benefit of the doubt on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, and I was left disappointed.
The Dolphins travel very well, and they just played an extremely close game with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Predicted Final Score: Dolphins 31, Bengals 24
Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers (London)
5 of 13
Favorite: 49ers at -1
Give the Points: This game will put both teams out of their element as they travel to London for part of the NFL's International Series. The Broncos got absolutely rocked by the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, and they won't be able to make enough adjustments to get the win against San Francisco.
Predicted Final Score: Broncos 21, 49ers 27
Green Bay Packers at New York Jets
6 of 13
Favorite: Jets at -6
Give the Points: The Jets are one of the best teams in the NFL this season. They are coming off a bye, and have the home field advantage. New York wins this one easily.
Predicted Final Score: Packers 17, Jets 27
Carolina Panthers at St. Louis Rams
7 of 13
Favorite: Rams at -3
Give the Points: Who would have thought that the St. Louis Rams would be doing this well? Sam Bradford is proving that he is worth every cent of his enormous contract with St. Louis. The Panthers just won their first game of the season against the San Francisco 49ers, but my money is on the Rams.
Predicted Final Score: Panthers 13, Rams 21
Tennessee Titans at San Diego Chargers
8 of 13
Favorite: Chargers at -3.5
Give the Points: This is a tough one, but it will also be one of the must-watch games of the weekend. The Titans have been dominant this season, but the Bolts are desperate for a win.
Predicted Final Score: Titans 20, Chargers 28
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arizona Cardinals
9 of 13
Favorite: Cardinals at -3
Give the Points: Who would have thought that the Bucs would stand above the reigning Super Bowl champions in the NFC South? Tampa Bay has been pretty good so far this season, but the Cardinals are a real wild card. They can get blown out by the Chargers and then turn around and beat the Saints. I expect Arizona to get the win here.
Predicted Final Score: Buccaneers 16, Cardinals 21
Minnesota Vikings at New England Patriots
10 of 13
Favorite: Patriots at -4
Give the Points: The Patriots have only lost one game this season, and they won't lose their second game to the Minnesota Vikings. Some teams in the league have been playing like they have nothing to lose. This works for the Cleveland Browns...not for the Minnesota Vikings.
Predicted Final Score: Vikings 21, Patriots 31
Seattle Seahawks at Oakland Raiders
11 of 13
Favorite: Raiders at -1.5
Give the Points: The Raiders completely destroyed the Denver Broncos on Sunday, and they will continue their momentum as they host the Seattle Seahawks. It will be close, but Oakland gets the win at home.
Predicted Final Score: Seahawks 24, Raiders 27
Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints
12 of 13
Favorite: Steelers at -1
Give the Points: The New Orleans Saints looked all kinds of sloppy on Sunday against the Browns, and they will face an even better AFC North team when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Drew Brees threw four interceptions against the Browns, and the Steelers defense will prove too powerful for the Super Bowl champs.
Predicted Final Score: Steelers 30, Saints 24
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
13 of 13
Favorite: Colts at -5.5
Give the Points: Both of these teams will be coming off a bye week, and even though the Texans defeated the Colts in Week 1, it will be do-or-die for Indy. The Colts get the win at home.
Predicted Final Score: Texans 21, Colts 28
