Fantasy Football Week 7: Players To Keep on Your Bench
Wondering who you should consider benching in your fantasy football lineup in Week 7? Check out these three players that could lead create a headache for you on Sunday.
Chad Henne (Miami Dolphins) vs. Pittsburgh
With three consecutive multiple-touchdown games, Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne has been a popular pickup recently by teams looking for a spot starter. He’s had little trouble implementing receiver Brandon Marshall into the offense, and young receivers Davone Bess and Brian Hartline are looking good too. However, this week none of those guys will look good as the Dolphins play at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Steelers are first in the league in points allowed per game (12.0) and have given up just three passing touchdowns all season. That’s not to say Henne will be a complete disaster this week, because if one thing has impressed us about him so far it’s been his ability to play well against tough teams.
Don't expect Henne to score a lot of fantasy points this week, though most other weeks he is an decent option as a spot starter.
Felix Jones (Dallas Cowboys) vs. New York Giants
In the last two games Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones has received double-digit carries. Two weeks ago in a loss to the Tennessee Titans he rushed 15 times for 109 yards, but in last week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings he gained just 32 yards on 14 carries.
Jones has yet to find the end zone this season. The Cowboys offense is generating points, just not through the running game. Facing the New York Giants this week won’t help Jones’ cause as the Giants have given up a combined 67 rushing yards to opposing running backs in the last two weeks.
With 14 receptions in the last two games, Jones is a decent option in PPR leagues, however you should consider sitting him in standard scoring formats.
Donald Driver (Green Bay Packers) vs. Minnesota
Driver isn’t getting the opportunity to produce and because of this he has been seeing a decrease in receptions throughout the season. On top of his struggles, Driver has a tough matchup in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. Driver hasn’t had a 100-yard game or scored a touchdown against the Vikings since 2006. Furthermore, though he is expected to play this week, Driver missed most of practice with a thigh injury.
The seasoned veteran is still a good receiver, however, you can’t rely on him to produce enough points for your fantasy squad. Consider him if you are in a pinch, however, if you have better options don’t hesitate to stay clear.
