Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Thoughts:
- It is looking like Jason Campbell will be able to make the start against the Broncos this week for the Oakland Raiders. If not, it’s Kyle Boller, so fantasy owners have to hope Campbell is able to take the ball. At this point, however, with a late start, it’s too risky of a proposition to depend on.
- David Garrard, who suffered a concussion in Week 6, is not likely to play this week. His backup, Trent Edwards, suffered a thumb injury and has not yet practiced. That would leave Todd Bouman, an option fantasy owners should certainly pass on.
- Yet another team, the Tennessee Titans, is experiencing both of their top two quarterbacks to be suffering from injuries. Vince Young has a knee injury, and while he may not practice this week, could still play on Sunday. Kerry Collins is back at practice and would likely fill-in if Young can’t go. For now, I’m leaving Young on the rankings, but knocking him down a few spots. Even if he does play, a knee injury would limit his effectiveness. Consider him a last resort option in two-quarterback formats.
- While Michael Vick is back at practice, it’s not likely that he returns this week. With the Eagles having their bye in Week 8 and Kevin Kolb playing well, he deserves to continue starting. What’s going to happen after the bye week? Kolb’s performance this week could go a long way in determining that.
- Kyle Orton jumped over Kevin Kolb in the rankings. With Nnamdi Asomugha not expected to shadow any one receiver (according to Steve Corkin of the Oakland Tribune, whose article you can read by clicking here), as long as Orton can pick his spots he should be in line for a big day.
- Word going around is that Brett Favre’s elbow is improving (according to Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, whose article you can read by clicking here). With that news, he gets a slight bump up our rankings.
- With significant injury concerns to the Chargers skill players, Philip Rivers falls down the rankings this week. With a favorable matchup he still has the potential to perform, but you have to be hesitant.
