WWE Superstars 10/21/10 Review: Nexus Make Superstars Debut
1. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos
Out of the three matches these two teams have had over the last two months, I'd say this was the better of the three. It wasn't a great tag match, but it was fun and suitable to give Santino a win going into Bragging Rights.
Nice moves, no major botches and a sick Cobra! Nice way to kickoff Superstars with the campiness of Tamina and Santino very limited which is what I liked to see.

2. William Regal def. Darren Young
Not really a match, but more like the 'Taker and Kane match from Night of Champions: a brawl. Darren Young still needs a lot more work done in the ring, Regal is a great (and my favorite) veteran and can help him learn, but this match was filled with botches.
I liked that Regal won again, showing Young his place and that Regal needs a few wins. Hopefully, the feud continues because it helps them with their huge roster on RAW. Speaking of botches, that ending was a little scary. Young switched around at the last second so he might have actually been hit by the knee.
Creative and different finisher nonetheless, and would like to see more from these two as Young can really learn from William Regal.
*Nexus Promo/Hype
Great way to make their debut on Superstars. This is the kind of attention Superstars needs again to get more viewers: Have main event stars come on Superstars and hype their match on RAW or PPV. They did this when the show first began in the early going, but did not last long.
Anyway, it was a first good talking and to sum up everything that has happened in the Nexus angle recently. It may not change anything for Sunday, but it's great to see something different on WWE Superstars rather than the same old under-midcard.
3. WWE Tag Team Champions Drew McIntyre and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes def. MVP and Chris Masters (non-title)
Let me start out by saying MVP's new theme is BADASS. I love it! Way better than his boring old one. It got a huge pop too, which really shows MVP's push should be here, forget all this drug crap.
MVP did great, and worked really well with Masters who also did well. This match was way better than the mediocre tag match we got on RAW, and seeing the tag champs won't be in action this Sunday, this match made up for it.
Pretty predictable finish seeing the tag champs wouldn't lose to them, but it was still done well. Overall good match. And what the hell happened to Chris Masters' eye?!
Final Review
Decent show, and solid as well. The Regal-Young match was the only minor miss, but the show was still good. It's great to see WWE not just using the show for undercard matches all the time. But still, let Orton or Cena have a match!
