NFL Week 7 Power Rankings: Focus on the New York Jets
Over at my site—www.GuysNation.com—I do a weekly power ranking of all 32 NFL teams. It's a hugely subjective process in which I try to account for a team's strength of schedule, margin of victory, good wins and bad losses.
Where do the New York Jets currently rank?
As a disclaimer, I will tell you that I'm not a fan of New York sports teams.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I REALLY dislike the New York Yankees (hate is a strong word, though I've used it before in reference to the Pinstripes), I always root against the New York Rangers, the Giants are in my bottom five list of NFL teams and the New York Mets play in the same division as my two favorite baseball teams, so I dislike them by default.
That said, I try my best to be objective with my rankings. I try my best to look at each of the games a team has played and determine how that impacts my overall view of a team. I even have a couple other guys take a look at the rankings for a "sniff test" before I publish them.
I take into account the comments I get from people each week and look at the polls on the articles I write.
The Jets have certainly caught my eye.
I really like the victory against the New England Patriots, albeit I expect teams to win their divisional games they play at home. That concept gives extra credit to the Jets for beating the Dolphins in Miami and blowing out the Bills in Buffalo (regardless of how I feel about those teams).
A win over the Vikings isn't very impressive, especially when 15 of the points came on field goals.
A loss to the Ravens isn't such a huge problem, but it could determine whether the Jets are able to fend off Baltimore for a spot in the Power Rankings.
The win in Denver against the Broncos in Week 6 was good, but it was a close game.
So where did I decide the Jets should fall into the list? They've got the best record in the league, but that's certainly not the only thing I made my decision on.
Could they be listed above Pittsburgh? How much did I factor in the loss to Baltimore?

Unlike Power Rankings you see elsewhere, your comments could help persuade me to rank your team better after Week 7!
