Manchester United v Bursaspor
Champions League Group C
Venue: Old Trafford
Date: Wednesday, October 20 - Kick-off: 19:45
TV Coverage: Live on Sky Sports 2

Manchester United were unable to beat Glasgow Rangers in their first Champions League group game, although the bookies are taking few chances with their quotes about the Red Devils on Wednesday night.

Bursaspor will be hoping to capitalise against a United team that allowed West Brom to capture an unlikely point at the weekend.

The Live match will take place at Old Trafford in Manchester, England on Wednesday, October 20, 2010.

Kickoff is scheduled for 20:45 CET, 19:45 BST (UK time), and 14:45 EST.

If you can not go to the stadium you can enjoy the match in home through live streaming sites.

Having dealt with the Wayne Rooney situation in a style that shocked his followers, Sir Alex has since turned his full attention to more pressing, on-field problems.

Mistakes, such as the one made by Edwin Van der Sar at the weekend, and a general loss of confidence and concentration are weighing down United this season. Saturday was the third time United have given away a two-goal advantage, and the Red Devils are already five points behind leaders Chelsea.

United currently top their Champions League group after a valuable win in Valencia, coming after they’d been held at home by Rangers. Ferguson is almost at a loss to explain what is going wrong, and reckons Van Der Sar’s error at the weekend is symbolic of their current fortunes.

As Manchester United prepare to host Bursaspor in the UEFA Champions League, it is difficult to imagine that a single player will ever again eclipse a match to such an extent without actually setting foot on the field.

TEAM NEWS

Manchester United will be without strike duo Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen for Wednesday's game against Bursaspor at Old Trafford. Rooney, 24, was stretchered off during the end of Tuesday's training session at Carrington with an ankle injury.

Owen has a minor groin problem and will not be considered for another ten days, while United are without winger Ryan Giggs who has a hamstring injury. Central defender Jonny Evans (hip) is also not available for selection.
