Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Brett Favre: Complete Week 6 Scores And Roundups
Tim Tebow fans got a shot in the arm this week, as rookie NFL quarterbacks grabbed headlines while Old Man Brett Favre continued to keep on truckin' down the field.
The rookie quarterback class of 2010 featured good performances from "The Big Three" of Tebow, Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy.
Jimmy Clausen had the week off, and it's probably a good thing as it would've tempted fate to hope all four big-name quarterbacks out of the draft did well on the same day.
The week also featured another big upset, some dirty hits and two early overtime games.
I'm Brian DiTullio, NFL Featured Columnist, and here's a look at the week that was.
*Note: Will be updated with the Sunday Night Football Game
Miami 23, Green Bay 20

It took overtime, but the Miami Dolphins pulled out a victory vs. the Green Bay Packers.
Aaron Rodgers proved the concussion was in his past by going 18 for 33 for 313 yards, one touchdown and one pick.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne was 23-of-39 for 231 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, which was enough to get the victory.
The Packers, still beat up with injuries to the defense, were not able to stop the Dolphins when it counted.
St. Louis 20, San Diego 17

The Rams came out and flat out dominated the Chargers, who now have to seriously evaluate every aspect of their game.
The Chargers offense, which has been good even in the losses this year, failed to gain even 300 yards of total offense and Phillip Rivers lost his best receiver when tight end Antonio Gates went down with an ankle injury.
But Bradford, who didn't throw for as many yards as Rivers, still had the better day as the Rams put 14 points on the board in the first half before the Chargers could answer.
A lot of questions in San Diego right now, a lot of celebrating in St. Louis.
New England 23, Baltimore 20

As expected, this game was close, and Deion Branch made the difference as the Patriots scored the winning field goal with 23 seconds left in overtime.
Branch finished the day with nine catches for 98 yards while Tom Brady had 292 passing yards and a touchdown on the day. Brady also had two interceptions.
Joe Flacco had a pretty good day as well, hooking up frequently with Derrick Mason.
The Ravens still have nothing to be ashamed about, but a loss is a loss in the NFL.
Pittsburgh 28, Cleveland 10

Ben Roethlisberger torched the Browns secondary for three touchdowns, but a high school quarterback could torch the Browns secondary, so that's not really news.
James Harrison's two vicious helmet-to-helmet hits that took Joshua Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi out of the game will become one talking point this week as both hits were blatant yet neither was flagged.
Colt McCoy will become another talking point as his play grew increasingly better and more confident as the game wore on, and the rookie raised a few eyebrows with his ability to move the Browns offense and handle the Steelers blitz.
Not that McCoy played like a Hall of Famer, but outside of some rookie mistakes early in the game, McCoy showed competence and ability to get the job done.
Houston 35, Kansas City 31
5 of 12
It was a quarterback duel in Houston as Matt Schaub came out the victor over Matt Cassel.
Arian Foster had 71 yards on the day as well as two touchdowns while Andre Johnson caught a touchdown while getting 138 receiving yards on the day.
Thomas Jones' 100-yard rushing day just wasn't enough, and the Chiefs now find themselves at 3-2 after starting the season 3-0.
New York Giants 28, Detroit 20
6 of 12
The Giants did what was expected of them and beat the Detroit Lions.
With Shaun Hill leaving the game after breaking his left arm, it was up to the Lions third-string quarterback, Drew Stanton, to try and get a victory.
The Giants didn't blow out the Lions, but they did make fewer mistakes. Penalties killed the Lions and saved the Giants this week.
It wasn't impressive, but it's a win for the Giants, and now the Lions are hoping Matthew Stafford will be ready to go next week.
Philadelphia 31, Atlanta 17

Kevin Kolb made a statement about keeping his starting job by throwing for 326 yards and one touchdown.
The Falcons now fall to 4-2, and while a win is a win is a win, the Falcons almost lost to the San Francisco 49ers a few weeks ago and this loss has to raise some questions.
The bigger issue is in Philadelphia, though, as Head Coach Andy Reid once again finds himself having to answer a quarterback controversy question.
Since both quarterbacks are and were playing well, it's a good problem to have, but it is the kind of problem that can come back and bite them in the rear end at the wrong time.
Seattle 23, Chicago 20
8 of 12
Jay Cutler had a good day throwing, 290 yards, but he had no touchdowns and got sacked six times.
The Seahawks learned something from the tape of the Bears/Giants game from a few weeks ago and once again made sure Cutler was too busy eating turf to have a good enough day to win the game.
The Seahawks got a good win, and the Bears record now is beginning to look more like what preseason predictions had it being.
New Orleans 31, Tampa Bay 6
9 of 12
Drew Brees had a pretty good day, throwing for 263 yards and three touchdowns.
Josh Freeman had an okay day, but the Saints came out and played like the defending Super Bowl champions, something they haven't done a lot of this season.
The Saints didn't punt until the fourth quarter, and the Bucs' one long drive was aided by two personal foul penalties.
The Saints have the Browns next week, and that's just the kind of game they're supposed to win.
New York Jets 24, Denver 20
10 of 12
The Jets won, but the big story will be Tim Tebow's first NFL touchdown, a five-yard run.
It is what it is, and the Jets can comfort themselves with the "W."
The Broncos still have to figure out how to overcome not having a running game, but Knowshon Moreno now is back, and hopefully will be much healthier next week.
San Francisco 17, Oakland 9
11 of 12
This game wasn't pretty, but the San Francisco 49ers don't care because they got their first victory of the season.
Jason Campbell was awful for Oakland, throwing for only 83 yards and two picks.
Alex Smith held onto his job for another week and Mike Singletary cooled his Hot Seat a bit.
Minnesota 24, Dallas 21
12 of 12
The Dallas Cowboys just aren't a very good team. While Tony Romo wasn't the only reason the Cowboys lost, his two picks certainly didn't help.
The bottom line here is the Cowboys could not overcome their own mistakes and poor play, including a 95-yard kickoff return to Percy Harvin to open the second half.
When your record is 1-4, you're just not a very good team.
The Vikings found a way to win despite Brett Favre's sore elbow, and Adrian Peterson ran for 73 yards to edge out the Cowboys.
