WWE: 5 Currently Misused Talents on RAW by the Creative Team
WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world and has some of the most talented wrestlers within their company. However, some are not used properly within the company, whilst some of the lesser talented wrestlers get the limelight.
Most fans have a common consensus about certain wrestlers being misused within the company. However, some wrestlers are not as known for their wrestling ability due to them not even having the chance to wrestle, apart from house shows.
Many criticize WWE’s creative team for favoring the wrestlers with the "all-round package." I am one of them. I get frustrated when I see wrestlers who deserve a push, and yet see less talented wrestlers get a push due to them having a better look or mic skills.
But as much as it frustrates me, I realize this is a business, and at the end of the day it needs to be successful and make a profit.
WWE is a sports entertainment business, and with that tagline they need to entertain the fans with wrestlers that can have the all round package.
Yes I am talking about having the look, the charisma, the mic skills and the wrestling ability.
And it’s not easy to find a wrestler who is naturally gifted in all these areas. HBK is considered one of the best, if not the best all-round performer, entertainer and wrestler within the business. There may never be another HBK, but there are wrestlers who have the potential to have the whole-round package.
The wrestlers in this slideshow are people who I think could be more successful if given a chance by WWE’s creative team. But they aren’t. This could be due to appearance, mic skills, or just due to the creative team not seeing the potential in certain wrestlers as we do.
R-Truth
1 of 6
R-Truth returned to WWE in 2008.
I have been a fan of R-Truth for a while but I am not a fan of his gimmick. His gimmick, to me, seems to be aimed at kids and I find it stale at times. I feel like his gimmick holds him back, and I personally would love to see him turn heel.
William Regal

Regal has been in and out of WWE since 1998. He has won numerous belts in WWE and WCW, including the intercontinental belt and tag team belts, however has never won the heavyweight belt.
He is rarely used these days, and is often booked as a jobber.
Gail Kim
3 of 6
Gail Kim made her first debut in WWE in June 2003 and won the WWE Women’s Championship in her debut. However, she only worked for the company for over a year as she was let go on October 2004.
She then went on to join TNA between 2005 and 2008.
Since returning to RAW she has barely been used.
Santino Marella
4 of 6
Santino made his debut on RAW in April 2007. His gimmick has mostly been comical since his debut. His character is not taken seriously, and his wrestling ability is mocked and considered to be a joke.
However, Santino’s wrestling ability is far from a joke.
John Morrison
5 of 6
Morrison initially auditioned for tough enough two, but was not accepted as WWE felt as if he was not serious enough about wrestling. Morrison then went on to apply for tough enough three in 2002, and eventually went on to win with Matt Cappotelli.
He is considered, by some, as one of the most misused talents on RAW at the moment.
That's All!
