Yesterday, we updated our fantasy football rankings for Week Six. Here are some notes regarding quarterbacks and pass defenses heading into this week:

- Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion in the overtime loss to the Redskins, but he returned to practice this week and appears ready to play against the Dolphins on Sunday.

- Four quarterbacks are averaging more than 300 passing yards per game: Philip Rivers (351.8 yards per game), Kyle Orton (346.6), Tony Romo (336.5) and Peyton Manning (321.8).

- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returns from his four-game suspension with a game against the Browns, who rank 18th against the pass (223.2 yards per game allowed).

- Through five games, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has eight touchdowns and no interceptions.

- Jackonville's David Garrard is tied for third in passing touchdowns (nine) with Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Tom Brady. Tight end Marcedes Lewis has caught five of those TDs.

(On Monday Night, the Jaguars host the Titans and our free fantasy football contest is based on Monday Night matchups. New entries encouraged.)

- After leading the NFL in passing yards last year, Texans quarterback Matt Schaub threw for less than 200 yards in three (or 60 percent) of his five games this year.

- The five worst defenses against (or best for) fantasy quarterbacks are Jacksonville, Houston, Denver, New England and Washington. No team has allowed fewer fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks than San Diego.
