The NFL’s Best
This NFL season has totally started differently then I had expected and the top teams of last year are not the top this year. The AFC has some obvious favorites while the NFC is totally up for grabs.
New York Jets – The Jets told the world that they would make the Super Bowl this year and they have yet to disappoint. They are playing great football with one of the top defenses in the league and their offense started to show some life. Mark Sanchez has yet to throw an interception and seems to be getting more comfortable with the offense. It seems as if Sanchez is getting better as each week goes on and with good play from him, this team could be unstoppable. The Jets also got wide receiver Santonio Holmes back from a suspension, but the biggest surprise has been LaDainian Tomlinson. He has rushed for 435 yards, 3 touchdowns and has a whooping 5.7 yards per carry average. Besides all the off-field issues that have been circling the Jets, this team is for real.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Baltimore Ravens – Many have predicted the Ravens to win the Super Bowl this year and it only makes sense. They, like the Jets, have a solid defense and their offense is growing. This past off-season they made huge splash in free agency and picked up Anquan Boldin. Later they were able to also pick up T.J. Houshmandzadeh. These two wide receivers make huge weapons for the growing Joe Flacco. Added to this supreme passing game is Ray Race and Willis McGahee, who will help balance the offense. With Ray Lewis leading the defense and the offense loaded up and ready to go, the Baltimore Ravens are a scary team.
Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers are 3-1 with no Ben Roethlisberger. Once again this team also has a beastly defense, which seems to be a pattern for these strong AFC teams. There is not much else to be said about this team. They have an incredible defense and are 3-1 with their starting, two Super Bowl winning, quarterback finally coming back.
These three are the obvious top teams in the NFL and all share one huge quality, they have amazing defenses. I think the saddest part about all of this is that I have listed no NFC teams. The Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears are both 4-1 but I am very skeptical about both. It would be nice to have at least one strong NFC team but only time will tell which teams will finally stand out, it may just be the Falcons or the Bears or maybe the Saints will finally get their act together.
This is just an opinion so please…Pardon My Bias
