WWE Superstars 10/14/10: Kelly Kelly Vs. Layla, Melina Goes Against Alicia Fox

We get the opening video and he comes Kelly Kelly accompanied by Natalya. Michelle McCool will also be at ringside.

Match #1: Kelly Kelly vs. Layla

Very decent back and forth match between both ladies. Kelly Kelly showed lots of aggresion and there were few botches. The match was given time; around 6 and a half minutes.

Ending: Natalya provide some interference on Layla which allowed Kelly Kelly to take advantage and go for a pin.

Winner: Kelly Kelly

We get a preview for Big Show's new movie "Knucklehead" which looks really bad. No wonder this is on limited engagement.

Match #2: Curt Hawkins vs. Trent Barreta (The Dudebusters)

We get a flashback of Curt Hawkins betraying his ex-tag team partner, Vance Archer from last week.

Very good match with lots of near falls, and high flying action. Could have been given more time, though.

Ending: Hawkins hits his elbow drop from the top turnbuckle and scores a three count.

Winner: Curt Hawkins

They plug the Wrestling's Highest Flyers DVD.

Oh yeah, and this month on WWE Classics is "Rocktober."

Match #3: Primo vs. Darren Young

Primo also has his NXT Diva Rookie, A.J. Lee with him at ringside. 

Good match, with both men getting some momentum. Darren got a good chance to show his skills and aggression, while not making Primo look so weak.

Ending: Primo goes for the backstabber, but it gets countered into Darren Young's finisher.

Winner: Darren Young

We get a video showing how WWE supports the troops. Too bad their not going this year.

We also got the RAW Rebound recapping John Cena vs. The Miz and Wade Barrett taunting Cena afterwards.

Match #4: Melina vs. Alicia Fox

Alicia's NXT Rookie Diva, Maxine, is at ringside.

Very nice match with lots of counters and near falls. Maxine also provided some interference from the outside.

Ending: Alicia misses her scissors kick, and Melina rolls her up for a 3-count.

Winner: Melina

This weeks Superstars was ok. It was lacking a real main event, though. Nice work by the Divas in both matches.
