Totally bittersweet: Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I wanted Ohio State and Alabama to prevail in all regular season games. I wanted to see the Buckeyes play Saban’s band of maulers in the Meth Toaster for college football supremacy.

As they say, “If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best.” The SEC, and specifically Bama, have been the best for a while now, so I would relish nothing more than an OSU victory over the Tide.
What’s happening in here? Honestly, I have no idea how five SEC teams infiltrated my top 10. It just happened. I suppose that is the same thing folks say when they discover they have bedbugs.
Still, I am not sure I believe that the SEC is nearly that dominate. In fact, I attended the Florida-Alabama game and I can truthfully say that neither looked super tremendous. Anyway, they are there for now.
Where’s Non-AQ? I am horribly biased towards Boise State, TCU and Utah. I know they have won BCS-level bowl games. I don’t care. Whenever I imagine them on a field with a motivated and talented BCS conference team I envision a mauling.
Foolhardy as that is, I cannot control. So, I will raise my glass to Boise State, TCU, and/or Utah when they are the last team standing, but I will never claim that I saw it coming.
