Monday Night Milestones
Tonight is an historic night for Monday Night Football on ESPN. They will be the ones to broadcast Brett Lorenzo Favre making football history twice more one day after his 41st birthday. Forget about the media's publicity on that other crap, and focus on what's important: two teams playing a great game and one special quarterback making history TWICE in the game.
Brett needs only 74 passing yards to reach a milestone 70,000 passing yards and to set yet another NFL record. He can do this quickly now that Randy Moss can be down field to catch his long bombs! Many of us are Favre Followers for the right reasons and that's all that matters for Monday Night Football. So bring on football history Brett. We are waiting and rooting for you. We can't wait to see your little boy smile and happy run on the field when you accomplish both feats tonite.

Favre also needs only one passing touchdown to reach 500 career touchdowns. Again, another NFL record that no one has yet to accomplish: except Brett Lorenzo Favre. People say he's got the most interceptions record and that's true. But that's because he throws it more than anyone. Michael Jordan once said "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take".. Well Favre won't miss tonite. Controversy or not, he's the best and he is a class act.
He will throw that touchdown pass and my guess is that Randy will be the one to catch it and both will be entered in the history books because of it. It will be a moment that everyone should let Brett celebrate without any of this other stuff clouding the moment.
I believe in the magic of the boy from Mississippi. I also believe that tonite will be a great night for him to shine. And anyone that tries to take away from his moments that are so well deserved, can contact me and take it up with me. I admit, I am a Favre Follower for all the right reasons and I want him to be recognized for his accomplishments ON THE FIELD. He's earned it.
And ESPN should realize what they will be witnessing tonite.. History is happening not once, but twice. And I can't wait to watch him smile that smile that has captivated his real fans '4' years!!
