Packers-Redskins: Quick Hits on Friday That Could Change the Outcome
Redskins
First of all, I would like to take a moment and pass along a prayer for the difficult time Albert Haynesworth is being faced with right now.
Haynesworth's half-brother, Lance McCoy, 23, passed away after a high speed motorcycle accident at Vanderbilt Hospital in the Nashville, Tennessee area Thursday evening.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
“I talked to Albert last night and obviously, what he's going through right now is paramount [to football],” coach Mike Shanahan said. “I would never ask somebody to play when a tragedy like that just happened.”
So, look to see Haynesworth as a game time decision on Sunday. He flew to Nashville upon hearing the news.
On a slightly happier note, Trent Williams has been practicing all week and even though not at 100 percent it appears he will start on Sunday, barring any flares on Saturday.
“It get's better day to day,” Williams said. “I’m still treating it because I don’t want it to be a reoccurring problem during the season. We’re just managing it.”
Vonnie Holiday has also been activated for Sunday. In case of Haynesworth's absence, Holiday will provide defensive end support who is very familiar with the Green Bay organization.
Packers
The Packer have lost linebacker Nick Barnett for the season possibly due to a wrist injury and he is ruled out for the matchup against the Redskins.
The Packers have also lost backup linebacker Brandon Chillar due to injury.
The Packers starting offensive lineman Mark Tauscher is also out for Sunday, giving the start to rookie Bryan Bulaga. This does not mean the Packer offensive line is any weaker. Bulaga is a first-round draft pick out of Iowa who had a great college career, most notably 2009 Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.
