2010 Game 6: Michigan State vs. Michigan

This game and last week’s Wisconsin game are the Spartan’s two of the toughest year so far....  Wisconsin was ranked #11, are now Michigan is ranked aprox. #18….  

MSU did beat Wisky, now it’s the Wolverine’s turn…

As it is tuning out, it is their biggest game.. And should be their first lose....

Wolverines have more to lose on this game than the Spartans.. Wolverines will end up with an “L”, could very well lose a coach,  plus Heisman candidate. Not so for the Spartans..

Alot could be said about this game, but there are a few statistical facts that makes some of this easier…
   1) Wolverine defense has sucked this year..   Allowed 127 opponent points: 25.4 per game, Wolverines have allowed opponents 444 yards of offense per game, and over 300 passing yards per game. Ranking them as a porous sieve in the Big Ten…

   2) Wolverine kickers have yet to hit a field goal from over 30 yards…

   3) Wolverine offense is a ONE Man show (Uno, Singular, only guy…): Denard Robinson… As QB, he has rushed for 905 yards, and passed for 1008 yards…

  4) Possibly we will see Shaw this week for the Wolverines.. 

  5) Indiana showed a blue print on how to beat Michigan.. Keep the offense off the field..  With the weak Michigan “D”, run and keep the clock ticking… Michigan only had the ball 18 minutes..

  6) Take a look at the Sim from WhatifSports:  Think the computers got it right !

7) Contain Denard, force him to use his arm not his legs…

Its kind of basic, the more multidimensional Spartan offense take advantage of weaker Wolverine Defense. The stronger Spartan Defense will contain Denard and push MSU over the hump for the game. The Spartans play as they have to date, they will have a victory in AnnArbor Saturday…

Not sure what else to say, Denard vs. the Michigan State Team…  Spartans will prevail... Again...
