John Cena Nation Becomes Nexus Nation and You Should Be Loving It
I've been reading around Bleacher Report and I'm tired of all the John Cena hating. When he's superman people hate him, now he's in the evil faction of Nexus and people hate him. Cena along with Randy Orton is the most popular wrestler in all of the WWE. He's not losing popularity and he indeed one of the hardest working and best wrestlers in all of the business.
Now I've said this before, but Cena is not my guy, I just respect what Cena gives to the business and for all the haters, you exist because Cena is one of the best, not because "he is losing his popularity" or "people are tired of him." Cena's Nexus storyline has carried Raw and the WWE the past 3 months, not only carried it, but made for some fresh and innovative ideas that we haven't seen in quite some time.

Which brings me to Cena joining Nexus... How awesome was this? The look on the kids faces in the crowd at Hell in a Cell and on the following night on Raw. Unlike some of you, i didn't let any spoilers effect my view before I watched Hell in a Cell and i was thoroughly shocked and delighted Cena lost at Hell in a Cell. This just opened the doors for an amazing and different storyline then we have seen.
Nexus already was a great storyline going on in the wrestling world, but now Cena reinvigorates it and reinvents himself to us. I was a little worried on Raw when Cena proceeded to put the smackdown on Tarver, but they saved it when they put Cena's WWE career on the line, making him a valid member of nexus. WWE already made Nexus impossibly strong with their wild pack of dog attacks. Now Cena and Nexus help each other by making what could be a scary good faction with tons of upside in the story department.
It looks like they got rid of weak link Tarver and they might even have some NXT rookies from season 2 on their side, not to mention if Nexus last long enough Skip Sheffield could come back into the mix and strengthen Nexus. The point is not only is Cena going to have to do some dirty work, but whenever they do decide to end Nexus, it will be Cena epically challenging Barrett for the leadership role or Cena poisoning Nexus from within and either way it will make for a good story and good wrestling.
With Cena helping Wade Barrett win the battle royal on Raw gaining him the #1 contender status, it also keeps the chance of some more Cena/Orton feuding alive which in turn keeps the path for the two to probably meet at Wrestlemania. Cena in Nexus literally had raw buzzing all night and it will continue to make the WWE buzzing having the good guy lead the way for one of the deadliest factions we've seen in the wrestling world in a while.
