Vincent Jackson: Worth It for The New England Patriots?
In the New England Patriots' high-flying offense, they need more than a good slot receiver and solid tight end to be successful.
With the departure of Randy Moss, a big hole has opened up on the outside.
Vincent Jackson is one of the many receivers linked through trade rumors to the Patriots in the past couple of days.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Without a doubt, Jackson would be a huge upgrade to Tom Brady's arsenal of weapons. He most likely would even be an upgrade to Moss at this point in Moss' career.
After the events leading up to the possible trade, though, is it really worth it for the Patriots to deal for Jackson?
They just booted Randy Moss out of Boston because of a fight with their quarterback coach.
Would the Patriots really just go ahead and trade for a receiver who's been battling San Diego's General Manager, A.J. Smith, for month's right after their own in-house dispute?
The Patriots definitely have the draft picks to get the trade done. They have two picks in each of the first three rounds after Wednesday's deal.
They definitely have the motivation to as well, finding absolutely zero starting experience split out wide.
If, and only if, the Patriots can get Jackson's deal redone to where he is completely content, then the green light should be given on a swap.
Just because a player is upset at one team doesn't mean he is going to bring the same negativity to a new team's locker room.
A paid Vincent Jackson in a pass-first offense, featuring him as the go-to-guy on the outside, would be more than happy to leave his anger behind on the West Coast.
Drama setter? No chance.
A trade wouldn't hurt the morale of the Patriots' locker room. In fact, going out and getting a Pro Bowl receiver would boost the team's morale sky high.
