Washington Redskins Outrageous Rumors: Devin Thomas to the Patriots
Now that Randy Moss has been shipped back to Minnesota to catch a few balls from Father Time, the Patriots are a bit light at wide receiver.
Quick, name me another receiver besides Wes Welker.
Tough, isn't it?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here in D.C. we keep hearing reports of the Redskins shopping around Devin Thomas.
I could see the Patriots taking a chance on Thomas for say a fourth or fifth-round pick.
The kid is young and talented but for whatever reason can't get on the field here in D.C.
I don't know if it's because he can't learn the offense or (and this might just be me) Mike Shanahan wants to rid this team of just about everyone Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato brought in.
Let's face it, all he's doing is returning kicks. Quite frankly, now that Brandon Banks is on the roster I think he'd be better at that job, so why not just get rid of Thomas for a low pick?
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have a knack for unlocking players' potential. I think this would be a win for all parties involved.
Thomas would finally see the field, the Skins would be rid of him and get an extra pick, and the Patriots add a new receiver to their corps.
In case you didn't get this from the title, this is an outrageous rumor that I am making up, but to me it makes sense.
