The 10 Athletes Most Likely To Have A Sex Tape Next

Who would have ever thought a sure-fire way to revitalize a career would be to strip down naked in poor lighting and get it on? Well the hard truth is it has opened the door for new starlets to be famous for nothing, and catapulted already famous athletes into the stratosphere of pop culture. 

No one is surprised when a new sex tape comes out, and aside from Vern Troyer (Mini-Me), we can't get enough of them.

Here are ten athletes likely to be next in the headlines for doing the dirty on camera and "accidentally" letting it leak to the web.

10. Plaxico Burress, NFL Wide Receiver

Former NFL Wide Receiver Plaxico Burress is currently serving a 2-year prison sentence for carrying an unregistered handgun into a nightclub. Burress accidentally shot himself when the firearm he had in his jeans began to slip. While attempting to corral the gun, he pulled the trigger. That little mistake has cost him millions in potential revenue and years out of the spotlight.

So naturally, a sex tape could bring him right back and make it all go away. Maybe Kim Kardashian has more skanky friends...

9. Evgeni Plushenko, Figure Skater

Now I know what you are thinking, "A figure skater? Gross." And you are probably right. However, check out Evgeni Plushenko and his dance to "Sex Bomb" by Tom Jones in the 2005 Winter Skating Championships in Lyon, France.

Yes, the photos are real, even professional athletes do dumb stuff when they are messed up (insert your own adjectives in that sentence). 

Oscar De La Hoya is no exception, and photos surfaced all over the web of the boxer in fish nets doing multiple poses.

De La Hoya has done it all outside of the ring, including settling a rape lawsuit outside of court in 1998, recording a Grammy-nominated album in 2000, and authorized a children's picture book, titled "Super Oscar," telling the story of his childhood.

A sex tape would be the next punctuated point of low in a career of ups and downs for the former champ, so why not? 

6. Dikembe Mutombo, Former NBA Oldest Player

The 7'2" basketball star from the Congo with a propensity to make headlines on and off the court. One line follows the shot-blocker just like his elephant-sized shadow: "Who Wants to Sex Mutombo?" 

Stories of his raging sex life has surfaced for years, and even though he is now 44 years old, and would barely fit into the camera shot, he would make a great show!

5. Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid Al Futbol

Legend has it the 25-year-old soccer superstar has already been involved in a group sex scandal in a London hotel room. So to add cameras and maybe a famous female celebrity wouldn't be much of a stretch. 

These days players are becoming more well-known for what they do OFF the field anyway, so why not just give in? I'm sure it's already on Cristiano Ronaldo's mind anyway.

4. Michelle Wie, WPGA Golfer

The shy golfer has been on the national scene since before she was legally old enough to vote. What would be more shocking and profitable than a now-21-year-old to propel herself to super-stardom with a sex tape? 

Just imagine how much attention she would receive, and the countless comparisons to her video every time she wears a white skirt on the course. I think every young male golf fan is already thinking about it, so it would only be natural.

3. Tiger Woods, PGA Golfer

Either Tiger Woods' lawyers are doing a great job, or the golfer is dishing out TONS of cash to keep video of his infidelity off the web. 

With the amount of claims hitting the web regarding Woods' sex addiction, there has to be at least a few times where it was videotaped. 

Perhaps the window of opportunity has closed, but it is still possible. If Tiger continues to play the way he has in 2010, endorsement deals and earnings from winning tournaments may disappear, paving the way for Tiger's debut into film...

2. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers QB

It's difficult to come back from sexual assault allegations when it only happens to you once, but when it happens twice in three years? Well, you might as well embrace it.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger seems to be intentionally trying to destroy his pro career, or at the very least audition for a new one in a different field.
