NFL Picks Against The Spread Week 5
Last week, we stayed afloat with 7-7 after some serious upset action and point-spread flubs.
This week, some serious game returns to a couple of teams, while other starters and fantasy studs fall by the wayside.
The Jets welcome Santonio Holmes to their midst, and with him comes another weapon for Sanchez to throw to, or miss.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Vikings grab Randy Moss, who is very familiar with the Jets' defense, I would say.
Now this game is a classic, with the receivers a trade off, and I still have a desperate Vikings team to grab a win here to make it to a sane level of competition once more.
The Jets have to give 4.5 points, which I say is nuts. Minnesota could easily just win this game.
Take the Vikings and the points.
The winless 49ers take on the Eagles minus Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy, who will both miss this week, at least. If McCoy manages to play, he will be ineffective with bruised, painful ribs.
The 49ers are favored by 3.5 points at home. The 49ers win one here after almost surprising everyone last week in Atlanta.
Take the 49ers and give the 3-4 points.
Dallas is at home and favored by 6.5 over the Tennessee Titans. Dallas will spark up the horses and get some offense going this week.
Look for Miles Austin and Roy Williams to get it done along with Dez, the "I got the check" guy.
The Cowboys like to cover at home, sometimes. They will this week.
San Diego looked great last week, and the Raiders did not. Somehow, this game will come down to a field goal or late touchdown this week, however.
The Raiders, with 6.5, are pretty safe this week.
Watch them win, somehow. Upset of the week.
Drew Brees is totally due for a monster game and 50 fantasy points this week. Take the Saints over Arizona by 13-14 points.
The line is eight. Very good for your wallet with the Super Bowl Champions on your side this week.
The Giants will fall to the new power rising in the South this week, as the Houston Texans run wild on a tired Giant defense from last week's stellar victory over Chicago.
Houston will win by 10 points. The line is 3.5.
Lock up Indianapolis as a win this week with 8.5 points over Kansas City. Peyton Manning and CBS Sports on Sunday do quite well for me.
Chicago is favored by 2.5 points in Carolina, and will cover that number, winning by more than three.
The Ravens will run roughshod over Denver this week, and will cover that 7.5-point number, as the defense for Baltimore will light up Orton this week.
Green Bay is too young and fast for Washington and 3.5 points over Washington is a lock this week, as well as that Colts game.
Arizona losing by many points is also weighing heavily on my mind this week, as I need some new tires and a little work done on the car.
I like the Lions to win their first game this week in a mild upset over the 2-2 Rams.
The Lions are favored by 3.5 points, and seem to gearing up that offense a bit more. The running game there is coming along nicely.
The Falcons will have no trouble with the Browns, as they find their identity as one of the favorites in the NFC this season to reach the Super Bowl, along with the Saints, Vikings, and Packers.
The Bengals will overcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and 6.5 points with the steady running game of Cedric Benson, along with Ochocinco and Terrell Owens.
Jacksonville is favored by two points over Buffalo, and that should be a winner as well to get a solid week of winners against the spread. If you bet all these games, you have 10 winners minimum.
10 winners at $1,000 per game would be $10,000. Four losers at $1000 per game would be $4,400. That would be a $5,600 profit on this week in the NFL.
Watch my system this week and stay tuned for more winners.
