Randy Moss Wants Out Of New England

Karen Guregian of the Boston Herald is reporting that New England Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss had his agent, Joel Segal, call Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and ask him for a trade after week one.

Bill Simmons of ESPN accidentally leaked information about Moss rumors on twitter today. "Sorry that last tweet was supposed to be a DM. Rumors swirling about a Pats-Minny trade for Randy Moss," Simmons tweeted.

Jay Glazer is now reporting that the Patriots and the Vikings are close to a deal that would send Moss back to Minnesota. According to Glazer, both sides are working on Moss' contract, which seems to be holding the trade, for now.

Mike Florio of PFT is reporting that both sides have not started talking terms yet, citing a league source. The Vikings tried to acquire San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson, and it is no secret that Moss is the receiver that Brett Favre has always wanted.
