The Jonathan CooneyyOct 15, 2010

Here are 10 things that keep you and I alive.

Our fix of Pro Wrestling. We are addicted and we don't know it.

How often do we bash WWE and their Promotion but yet we still tune in week after week.

Here are 5 of my favourite moments of this century.

Here are 10 things that keep you and I alive.

Our fix of Pro Wrestling. We are addicted and we don't know it.

Here are 5 of my favourite moments of this century.

Michaels Winning First-Ever Elimination Chamber (Survivor Series 2002)

1 of 5

At Survivor Series, Michaels won the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H in the first-ever Elimination Chamber match.

Chris Jericho, Kane, RVD, and Booker T were the four other challengers that made up the legendary match.

Michaels' reign as champion came to an end when he lost the championship to Triple H in a Three Stages of Hell match, a series of three matches in which wrestlers attempt to win the majority of matches, at Armageddon.

Randy Countering an Air Bourne Into an RKO!! (RAW 2010)

2 of 5

Words continuously fail to describe the legendary counter Evan Bourne was on the receiving hand of. It was simply brilliant on the Viper's part and well also Evan's too as he sold it well and had to receive it.

I am guessing some way or another that had to hurt Evan. Think about it; there is not way that it could not have.

Evan sold it brilliantly and that may well of been a factor of what made it so damn amazing.

At the time, Orton was either in the middle of a feud with Edge or just finished it (I can't really remember to be honest) but either way, he produced it brilliantly.

So far, I have been an Orton fan since his debut I have been behind him through out his first feud in the business against Hardcore and his heel days with both Evolution and Legacy, but I can honestly say what he produced in that RKO was PHENOMENAL.

If you can find me a better counter than that in WWE recent time, I promise to sign over my Car and House to you right now.

Big Show Choke Slamming Cena Threw a Spotlight That Exploded (Backlash 2009)

3 of 5

It was the most extreme moment of 2009 and probably Cena's career.

The main at the Backlash 2009 event saw World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena, defending his title against Edge in a Last Man Standing Match.

The match started as a heavy brawl between the two, each trying to beat the other down to reach the ten-count fast, only to have each of them get to their feet in time.

The match degenerated to the outside with Edge and Cena using the detachable steel steps connected to the ring as a weapon, as they threw each other into it, threw it at each other, and even have Edge tackle Cena with his finishing move, the Spear.

The match continued with both men being only able to incapacitate their opponent for a nine-count until they both ended up on the announcers' table, leading to Cena hoisting Edge up onto his shoulders, and throwing him into the crowd with his finishing maneuver, the Attitude Adjustment.

After the wrestlers reached to their feet, they fought around the arena, going into the surrounding lobby until they made their way to the stage, leading to an eventual interruption from their other WrestleMania triple threat match opponent, The Big Show (Paul Wight), which had him lift up Cena, and chokeslam him through a nearby spotlight that exploded.

Cena was unable to make the ten-count, thus having Edge win the title for the fifth time.

Cena was taken out of the arena on a stretcher, as the event came to a close.

A Live RAW Sex Segment Getting the Most Viewers In the Year 2007. (RAW)

4 of 5

Edge defeated Cena in less than two minutes after two spears to become WWE Champion for the first time.

In an interview conducted after the event, on WWE.com, Edge announced that he and Lita would have "hot, nasty sex" in the middle of the ring on Raw the following night to celebrate his victory.

On Raw, Edge held up to that promise by engaging in foreplay with Lita until they were interrupted by Flair, who called Edge a disgrace and "that he was horrible in the sack."

Flair, however, ended up on the receiving end of a con-chair-to on the announcers' table until Cena came out to Flair's aid and performed an FU on Lita.

The "Live Sex Celebration" segment earned Raw a 5.2 rating, the highest Raw rating in over a year, leading Edge to call himself the "most watched champion ever."

Three weeks later, at the Royal Rumble, Edge lost the WWE Championship back to Cena.

Lesnar and Show Destroy The Wrestling Ring (SmackDown 2002)

5 of 5

There are very few SmackDown moments that stick in my mind but this was certainly won that sticks in my mind and always will.

At the time Lesnar's billed weight was 289 pounds and Big Show's combined weight was an amazing 497 pounds.

That added up to a phenomenal 786 pounds, so does that really make it such a shock that they made bits of a WWE ring?

I remember a couple of years ago at Night of Champions it was Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. Big Show squaring off.  I remember thinking; Why doesn't WWE re-create that moment!

But then, I was sort of glad they did not, as It would of ruined that great SmackDown moment.

A couple of months ago on RAW's 900 episode celebration, I was delighted to see WWE honoured Brock Lesnar by showing a video of the very memorable moment.

How awesome would it be for Brock to return, even as a once-off guest star or host, well whatever, you know what I mean!

It would be excellent, wouldn't it?
