New York Jets Backing Up Talk, Looking Like a Super Bowl Team
As the New York Jets walked off the field and headed to their locker room after the 38-14 victory over Buffalo, they can't help but feel good about themselves.
After having a game where the total package was working on offense (granted it was against the Bills), Rex Ryan's team has looked much better after the opening game where the offense looked just off. The Jets rushed for over 200 yards and Mark Sanchez tossed two touchdowns. New York has flipped the switch, scoring 28, 31, and 38 points against their AFC East opponents.
LaDainian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene both rushed for over 100 yards against Buffalo to help control the flow of the game. Tomlinson is looking rejuvenated and is running with a pep in his step; he has rushed for 341 yards this season. Sanchez has been much improved from his atrocious showing against the Ravens and now has thrown for 637 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions in his last three games. He has brought much-needed balance in that offense.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You can't talk about the Jets without mentioning their great defense, which has not been as stout but has been good enough to win. Though the Jets "D" has struggled they have been without shutdown corner Darrelle Revis, who is their top defender. Not many teams can still play this good without its top player. In the absence of Revis, Antonio Cromartie has stepped up, intercepting two passes and swatting away five passes.
The Jets have the look of a Super Bowl team with wins against the 2-1 Dolphins and 2-1 Patriots to put them at 3-1 atop the AFC East. It may be too early to pick Super Bowl teams but with the impending return of the best corner in football and the way this offense has put it together, it's hard to find a better football team then the New York Jets.
