MMA: 10 Potential Entrance Songs and Who Should Use Them

0 of 10

For many fight fans the build up to the fight and entrance of their favorite fighters is a key part of the whole experience.

The entertainment factor is certainly a growing part of the sport and the entrance music is a great way for the fighters to express there personality.

So let's waste no time and take a look at my ten picks for songs that would make great entrance music and which fighters the songs could work for.

Saliva: Ladies and Gentlemen

1 of 10

Great lyrics and a real attention grabber for any fighter.

A certain level of arrogance and cockyness I think would be needed for a fighter to use this song.

    Fighters who could use this?

Frank Mir, Brock Lesnar, Rashad Evans,

Prodigy: Warrior's Dance

2 of 10

Not only is this one of my personal favorite songs ever, it is a great tune for a fighter's entrance.

The song is called Warrior's Dance and really builds to a huge build up when the fighter can enter the arena.

    Fighters who could use this?

Brandon Vera, Kendall Grove, Kenny Florian

D12: Fighting Music

3 of 10

I'm sure this song has probably been used before, but it is a great song to walk to a fight to.

I think this could be great for a Training house to use as there anthem.

Imagine all the members of a fight card in Team Blackhouse of the Wolfslair all walking to a fight to same tune.

Ram Jam: Black Betty

4 of 10

I real classic for you here.

For some reason this really makes me think of a real American hero when I hear this.

Can you imagine 'Captain America' Randy Couture or the 'American Fighter' Rich Franklin walking to the octagon to this tune.

Cypress Hill: Can't Get The Best Of Me

5 of 10

A real song for the scrappers and brawlers this one.

A 'Cypress Hill' classic and an angry tune.

    Fighters who could use this?

Jim Miller, Kurt Pellegrino, Cain Valasquez, Joey Beltran

Disturbed: Conflict

6 of 10

I'll admit I had a Metal phase in my younger days but Disturbed are on of the few bands that I still listen to from that era.

Great guitars and a great lead vocalist are what set this band apart.

This song in particular I think has great potential as an entrance song for a fighter.

It could work for a lot of guys, any ideas?

My initial thought was Dan Hardy.

Dizzee Rascal: Jus' a Rascal

7 of 10

A top dog from the UK grime scene. Dizzee Rascal has had a number of cross over hits in the last few years.

This song though was the one that made him into the star he is today.

A UK anthem with a classic hook and great base.

This would work well for some of the UK's finest. Brad Pickett or Terry Etim would fit this well.

Godsmack: I Stand Alone

8 of 10

Could a song title be any more apt for MMA fighters then this.

Two warriors stand alone in the cage and go at it. It's the very essence of what makes this sport so great.

Sub Focus: Rock It

9 of 10

Simply Drum & Bass at its finest.

Sub Focus is the master of epic beats and this tune really is a get up and go song.

Not that fighters have any trouble getting up for a fight but this song will certainly help and would really get the fans going as well.

I'd love to see one of my favorite fighters like Clay Guida or Pat Barry come into a fight to this song.

Oakenfold: Ready Steady Go

10 of 10

A real European classic dance tune.

This would fit well on any fight card and would certainly get a fighter and the crowd going.

    Fighters who could use this?

Cheick Kongo, Cyrille Diabate, Stefan Struve, Mirko Cro Cop
