Redskins Vs. Eagles: Is Michael Vick Under More Pressure Than Donovan McNabb?
The Washington Redskins travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in a 4:15 p.m. Sunday game in their critical Week 4 game, and it's one filled with critical player matchups.
Obviously this game is headlined by Donovan McNabb's return to Philadelphia, where he he played for the first 11 seasons of his career. This will be his first trip to the City of Brotherly Love after the Eagles traded him to their NFC East rivals during the offseason in exchange for a second-round pick.
The move was made as a part of their transition to becoming a younger team, in which 26-year-old Kevin Kolb was expected to take control of the reins. But he suffered a concussion in Week 1, which cleared the path for Michael Vick to take over. After leading the Eagles to a near-comeback victory over the Packers and following it up with a spectacular performance against the Detroit Lions, Vick was named the starter.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Vick did a fine job in response as he scored four touchdowns and posted a 119.2 passer rating against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Subsequently people have already begun to consider him as a potential league MVP candidate.
Now the Eagles are looking like geniuses for making the McNabb deal, and it adds even more intrigue to this game with a McNabb vs. Vick duel.
There's no doubt that both players will want to win for their respective franchises, but who's under more pressure to play better?
Even though Donovan McNabb could have an internal desire to prove the Eagles wrong, Michael Vick should be feeling more heat because he has to prove that the Eagles were right.
McNabb knows that Eagles fans can be very rough as they consistently booed him despite taking them to five NFC title games. In order to prevent a similar situation, Vick will need to prove that he's the superior quarterback.
He's the future in Philadelphia, and he needs to set the tempo right from the start with this golden opportunity. If McNabb outshines him, people will begin to question their decision, spelling disaster for both Vick and the Eagles organization.
I predict a 24-14 victory for the Eagles over the Redskins.
