Macho Rhino's NFL Predictions for Week 4

Macho RhinoOct 3, 2010

Most of the league will be a quarter of the way through the season after this weekend so teams will start to find out how the season is going to go now. Here’s to hoping I improve upon my dismal 8-8 record last week with these picks for NFL week 4:

Bengals at Browns – I don’t trust Jake Delhomme and if I were a Browns fan I’d be worried about him going against a good Bengals defense. The Browns’ D should keep this one respectable. Bengals 20, Browns 6
Lions at Packers – The Packers will be back at home and look to improve their performance after a penalty filled Monday night game. It’s ugly for the Lions this week. Packers 35, Lions 13
Ravens at Steelers – These two teams will hurt weeks after this one. Neither reaches the endzone. Steelers 12, Ravens 9
Seahawks at Rams – I think the early start will help the Rams and they’ll steal one in the division against an up and down Seahawks team. Rams 21, Seahawks 17
Broncos at Titans – I think this is Chris Johnson’s opportunity to have his first breakout game of the season. He gets going early and opens things up for VY in the passing game. Titans 30, Broncos 20
Jets at Bills – The Bills are trying to get their offense right after switching to Ryan Fitzpatrick as QB last week. They’ll find out how good he is this week against the Jets. Jets 20, Bills 9
49ers at Falcons – Might be a bit of a let down for Atlanta coming off the big win at New Orleans last Sunday but things don’t get much better for San Fran this week. Falcons 24, 49ers 13
Panthers at Saints – The Panthers have no chance in this game. New Orleans is at home coming off a loss. They’ll be fired up and take it out on Carolina. Saints 34, Panthers 10
Colts at Jaguars – The Jags have looked terrible the past two weeks. Peyton Manning will destroy them. Colts 38, Jaguars 14
Texans at Raiders – The Raiders have to learn how to win again. They have the talent to be a playoff team yet just can’t figure out their QB situation or how to close a game out unless the other team just gives it to them. The Texans will win. Texans 24, Raiders 16
Cardinals at Chargers – San Diego is a great home team and likes to blowout inferior competition. Not a good recipe for an upset. Chargers 38, Cardinals 6
Redskins at Eagles – The most talked about game of the week and probably will be for the season as Donovan McNabb returns to Philadelphia. By the end of the game, he’ll wish he was back in green, if he doesn’t already. Eagles 27, Redskins 14
Bears at Giants – This is a huge game for the G-men. After last week’s debacle, they’ve got a national stage to proof they’re better than what they showed. The Bears come in 3-0 riding high after a huge win on Monday night. I like the Bears defense to disrupt the Giants and make NY hit the panic button. Bears 24, Giants 14
Patriots at Dolphins – Big game for both teams in the AFC East. A loss gives the loser, two losses in the division already. I like the defenses of both teams get exposed but Miami will win at home. Dolphins 28, Patriots 26
