Miami Heat: Top 10 Reasons To Be Excited About ESPN's Heat Index
ESPN will be unveiling a new section of its website, titled Heat Index, which will give fans in-depth coverage of the Miami Heat. Apparently the Heat’s normal team page, which all 30 NBA teams already have, just isn’t big enough to contain the superstar egos that now play basketball in Miami. This special section will go live sometime in October. We want to get you excited as we are about this great news, so here’s the top 10 reasons that you should be ecstatic about the Heat Index.
1. You will be able to pre-order your 2010-2011 Miami Heat NBA Champions apparel, and your 82-0 T-shirts.
2. Word is that this section will have a Gloria James tracker for Google maps.
3. You will be able to see an abstract list of everyone LeBron James has taken mental notes of for taking shots at him. More than likely this will be the phone book of every city in America besides Miami.
4. You will be able to get a behind the scenes look at all of the talents that LeBron James took to South Beach.
5. You will be able to pencil in all of the Eastern Conference All-Star starters from one handy location.
6. There will be a daily labor auction for one Heat player that doesn’t have the last name James, Wade, or Bosh. This will help the rest of the team make enough money to feed their families.
7. In a list of the top 10 best teams of all-time, you will be able to see which nine teams came in behind the Heat as voted on by ESPN and the residents of Miami.
8. You’ll get to see live practices and watch Chris Bosh, Udonis Haslem, and Juwan Howard battle it out for the starting power forward spot.
9. Live coverage of the Heat’s Championship ring ceremony, and Erik Spoelstra receiving his Coach of the Year Award before their first home game against the Orlando Magic on October 29.
10. See Dwyane Wade unveil his new T-Mobile circle as well as instant alert when it changes.
