The current policy of WWE would suggest no. Youth development via NXT and indie circuit has the roster filled with fresh new talent. And yet the relationship Mick Foley has with WWE is quite unlike any other.
I do not believe that Mick would come back to wrestle again in WWE, but some talk exists as to whether he may come back in a GM-style role. The recent re-addition of his Alumni page certainly implies that his relationship with Vince is strong.
The promotion of his new book that alludes to TNA is however baffling considering WWE's refusal to acknowledge their competition in the south.
The situation gives rise to a few interesting questions.
One - Is Mick Foley going to return to WWE?
Two - Is Mick the GM?
Three - Is Mick Foley going to be inducted into this year's WWE Hall of Fame?
Four - Is the WWE the 'they' to which Abyss has alluded? (I know but I'm just asking)
Whatever has caused this reconciliation of sorts, its perplexing. Maybe it is a sign simply of respect but given Vince's treatment of other superstars in the past, it gives rise to the notion that maybe something bigger is in the horizon?
Mick Foley back in WWE? Headlining TNA and then into the WWE Hall of Fame?
Stranger things have happened in wrestling, we will just have to wait and see.
