Bury Me Alive: Superstars Who Aren't Popular With Creative Right Now

RiZEOct 2, 2010

For the past couple of months WWE Creative has seen fit to underutilize some of their top Superstars. Time after time, they've jobbed or used as stepping stones for the Newer Breed. For no apparent reason. Some have been featured in comedy segments instead of challenging for titles like they should

Change is indeed upon us, but first Creative needs to change how they use the following Superstars.

CM Punk

Man if this guy isn't the definition of what not to do with a wrestler, I don't know what is. He's been involved in feuds with Rey Mysterio, Big Show, and members of his Straight Edge Society for the past few months. For some reason he always seems to come out on the short end of the stick. Being stuck with mid and low carders for life in the SES. Being annihilated by Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania. Having his head shaved at Over the Limit. Contending for the World Title but ultimately losing. Than being squashed by the Big Show countless times. He's definitely being buried, but no reason behind it all.

Chris Jericho

While I'm fully aware of Y2J's departure, doesn't account for the way he's been used lately. If my memory serves me right, He hasn't won a match at a ppv since Wrestlemania. Evan Bourne and John Morrison have beaten Jericho. Two guys who were and have been buried by the WWE this year. Not to mention he was the first to be eliminated at Night of Champions. Y2J has fallen fast, I wonder what WWE has planned for him if he returns.

Edge

When Edge returned earlier this year, we were all expecting him to win the World Title at Wrestlemania. Not only did they waste the Royal Rumble ppv, they dropped Edge out of the title picture. He was then turned back heel. Feuding with Randy Orton, and apparently coming out on the short end of then stick. Losing his signature match at MITB. Losing countless WWE Title matches. Now he's walking around cutting crappy comedy promo's. Things are looking up with his feud with the RAW GM, and looking to end everything "stupid" the WWE. Now let's see if this can come full circle with the a return to Smackdown.

Evan Bourne

John Cena himself endorsed this guy to Vince McMahon. He had a three week push, pinning Sheamus in a tag match and defeating Chris Jericho at a ppv. Things were looking for Evan Bourne. Until he got involved with The Nexus. After losing to Y2J, he has been jobbed to the Nexus countless times. Losing multiple tag team matches. Getting pummeled by the Miz, Sheamus. and Edge in the past few months. This guy has so much talent, but yet he get's the back burner to guy's who can't wrestle their way out of a cardboard box.

Matt Hardy

Last but not least, Matt Hardy. Does anybody even remember the last time he won a match? Matt's been the center of a lot of controversy lately, and has been vocal about his current status in the WWE. Jobbing to Drew and Cody countless times in the past. Having his weight be criticized instead of his actions in the ring. Matt was taken off all cards and house shows. Can you blame him? While I don't think he will ever win the World Heavyweight Title, Matt is indeed looking to jump ship. Doesn't get any criticism from me.

Other Superstars who also have been victims of Creative are John Morrison, Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, Drew McIntyre.
