Inter Milan's Samuel Eto'o Is the World's Best Striker
Inter Milan enjoyed as much success as a soccer club could have in a single season. They won the Serie A title, the Coppa Italia, and the UEFA Champions League, completing a historic treble.
Striker Samuel Eto'o did not enjoy the same personal success he had with Barcelona in his first season for Inter.
Jose Mourinho, Inter manager last season (now of Real Madrid), is a defensive coach. With Inter having so many world class defenders, there was no reason not to be a team always looking to push forward.

Eto'o was often found on his own half of the field playing a lot more defense than he did with Barcelona. While he played good defense, this style of play was quite different to him.
The emergence of Diego Milito did not help Eto'o either, as Milito had an amazing season, scoring in the Serie A clincher, and scoring the only goals in the Coppa Italia and Champions League finals.
After Mourinho bolted to Madrid this past summer, Milan hired Spaniard Rafa Benitez, Liverpool's manager for the past several seasons.
So far this season, Eto'o has rediscovered the scoring prowess fans in Barcelona were so accustomed to watching. This past Tuesday against German side Werder Bremen in the Champions League group stage, Eto'o had a splendid hat trick, and assisted Wesley Sneijder's goal in a 4-0 rout in Milan.
Werder Bremen had no answer for Eto'o, who shines when the lights are brightest.
One of the most clutch players of our generation, Samuel Eto'o is a winner, no matter where he is.
With Barcelona, Eto'o won multiple La Liga and Copa Del Rey titles. On the grandest of European stages, Eto'o won two Champions League titles with Barca, scoring in each final.
Strangely, Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola decided to sell Eto'o to Inter Milan last summer for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Guardiola also gave Milan €40 million euros as part of the transfer.
The Ibrahimovic experiment was a disaster in Spain, and Barcelona loaned him to Inter rivals AC Milan for the current season.
The 2011 season will be the signature season in Samuel Eto'o's all-time career. Playing for the best team in the world, Inter Milan, Eto'o will once again prove he is the most clutch player on the planet and the most talented striker in the world.
There is no task Eto'o cannot perform, he is a truly special talent.
