Chicago Bears Fans: Opportunity To Meet Dez Clark and Book Review of "Da Bears"
Are you a loyal Bears fan who is local to the Chicago area, as I am? Then you may be interested in an opportunity to meet Bears tight end Desmond Clark on Tuesday, October 5 at Lord & Taylor at 7 pm in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.
WSCR Radio's Mark Grote will be hosting the event to celebrate the launch of the NFL Collection by G-III Sports by Carl Banks.
If you are interested in this event, RSVP with "Desmond Clark" in the subject line to rsvp@lordandtaylor.com and say that I sent you. I hope to have a chance to meet my fellow Bleacher Report readers at the event.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I recently received an advanced copy of the new book by ESPN reporter and native Chicagoan Steve Delsohn entitled "Da Bears: How the 1985 Monsters of the Midway Became The Greatest Team In NFL History."
It is a celebration of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl-winning team. While many of us lived through that era and/or heard so much about it, this book successfully brings up interesting anecdotes and stories that you may not know.
It is an easy read, with fairly large text over its 254 pages, and believe me, I do not read a lot of books so when I say it's an easy read I mean it. Meanwhile, it's chock full of no-holes-barred stories, profanity-laced tirades and something that I feel every Bears fan would consider a valuable investment of your time.
Da Bears takes you inside the huddles, team meetings, and of course the bars for an intimate account of that season—from the screaming matches between Ditka and Ryan to the back story of the Super Bowl Shuffle.
It includes new interviews from all the major coaches, players, and management, including Ditka, McMahon, Emery Moorehead, Kurt Becker, Dan Hampton, Jimbo Covert, Gary Fencik, Ron Rivera, Mike Singletary, Leslie Frazier, and many, many more.
My copy did not include any pictures but I was told that the final copy will contain many pages of very cool pics.
The book is published by Crown Archetype, and became available to the general public on September 28.
Full disclosure: I did receive this book free of charge but I made no promise to recommend it and if I didn't like it, I certainly wouldn't suggest you read it.
Go get it, it's a worthwhile read for Bears fans.
