EPL: A Table Prediction for 2008-2009

This coming season promises to be the best yet in the EPL, with the top four being challenged and anyone of at least 8 real possibilities to go down.

Here, I will predict the final league table of the 2008/2009 season:

1. Manchester United

2. Chelsea

3. Liverpool

4. Arsenal

5. Tottenham

6. Portsmouth

7. Manchester City

8. Blackburn

9. Everton

10. Aston Villa

11. Hull City

12. Newcastle

13. West Ham

14. Middlesborough

15. Sunderland

16. Bolton

17. Wigan

18. West Brom

19. Fulham

20. Stoke

Yes, unfortunately I can see Man Utd equalling Liverpool's 18 League titles, which means we won't hear the end of it—despite the fact that all they've done is draw level with a record we have held for so long.

I can see Tottenham pushing Arsenal for fourth, but just falling short, and Liverpool closer to getting second than fourth.

I can see Hull shocking everyone. They have been fantastic in the transfer market and may have a similar season to that of Reading when they first came up.

Fulham and West Brom will fight until the last day and it will be another close relegation battle, with Wigan and Bolton just escaping on the last day.

Stoke, I predict, will be relegated first and finish bottom by quite a way. Perhaps not to the extremes of Derby last season, but I can see a poor season for them.
