Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: Wide Receivers
It’s been an interesting year thus far at the wide receiver position. Through three weeks, lesser named wideouts continue to make some big noise as guys such as Austin Collie, Brandon Lloyd, and Lance Moore had gigantic weeks that helped propel their fantasy football owners to victory in Week 3...Believe it or not, Collie and Lloyd rank No. 1 and No. 2 in the NFL in receiving yards with 359 and 339, respectively. It might be only three weeks, and a lot can change, however it goes to show how unpredictable things can be in the NFL and that the conventional wisdom doesn’t rule the world. That being said, take a look at our Fantasy Football Week 4 Wide Receiver Rankings to see who you should start this week.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Wayne made the most of his matchups against the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Over two games he recorded 15 receptions, 294 yards, and two touchdowns against his divisional opponent. With Jacksonville allowing over 300 yards a game through the air, expect more of the same this season.
Point Projection: 20 points
2. DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. Washington
Different quarterback, same story. DeSean Jackson averaged over 30 yards a catch last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. That brings his season yard per receptions average to 24.5, even better than his impressive 18.5 last season. His value is rock solid, and he could have a top notch game against the Washington Redskins, who through Week 3 are giving up the most fantasy points to receivers.
Point Projection: 19 points
3. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons) vs. San Francisco![]()
White has been a target machine this season and is looking like a clear top five receiver. The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, are getting lit up on the way to a 0-3 record. They haven’t actually been too bad against the pass (currently tied for 14th overall); however, Roddy White is too gifted and too active for the 49ers to contain him. If you own White, 120 yards and a touchdown are well within reach.
Point Projection: 18 points
4. Greg Jennings (Green Bay Packers) vs. Detroit
After a strong Week 1, Jennings has had a disappointing last couple games, totaling 54 yards and five receptions. His early touchdown last week against the Chicago Bears was his only blip on the radar the entire game. He’s too big of a threat to keep contained, especially when quarterback Aaron Rodgers has time to get it to him. Look for a bounce back against the hapless Detroit Lions.
Point Projection: 18 points
5. Randy Moss (New England Patriots) @ Miami
Moss only recorded two receptions last week but made the most of them by scoring touchdowns on both catches. A similar stat line (in the touchdown department) could be in store for him this week, as his 10 touchdowns over nine career games (against the Dolphins) indicates a trip to the end zone at Sun Life Stadium in Miami is likely. His 85 yards per game over those nine games give hope that his yardage totals will be higher as well.
Point Projection: 17 points
