Four exclamation points? Wow, you must have been very excited for this big dinner. I wonder if you knew at that point that the entire team was prepared to drop the financial burden of this party in your lap.

I know $55,000 may not be a whole ton of money to you right now. But I also know that your pride is as important to you as anything, and getting played like this can't be helping your hubris right now.
