Celtic's £30,000 Balde Won't Even Play For £27,500!

Anyone remember Winston Bogarde?

The Dutch international signed for Chelsea on a bumper £50,000 a week deal before falling out of favour with the club not long after.

Bogarde though, was not to be forced out and ended his career at Stamford Bridge training with the youth team but picking up his £50k!

The Dutchman fell out of love with the game and refused all offers from Chelsea to pay him off. As was his right.

No team on earth would have given Bogarde anything like that money so he chose the money over football.

Now we have Celtic's Bobo Balde!

The Guinean centre back has been told his career is over at Celtic and he'll never play for the club again.

It's reported he earns just under £30,000 and is refusing, like Bogarde, to be paid off.

This story is different, however.

Bobo Balde apparently just rejected £27,500 a week from Wolves!

Two points here, why the hell are Wolves offering any player £27,500 in the middle of the Championship?

That's crazy money, am I right?

Especially to a player with such a clear lack of regard for Wolves advances.

Secondly, what's £2,000 when you're playing football?

Wolves pulled out every stop to put a bumper deal together and he just said no.

A team that is desperate to sign him is obviously not important to the big defender and it disgusts me.

From any normal fan, who's only ever dreamed of playing football for any team that would have them.

We feel sorry for you Mr. Balde as you clearly don't love the game like we do.
