King James... Or Should He Still Be Called That?

When LeBron James was drafted, he was projected to be one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball. A 6 foot 8 inch monster or can score and rebound at ease, every team wished they could get lucky and grab him. The lucky team was the Cleveland Cavaliers, the hometown team. Quickly he became a star and was given the nickname "KING JAMES" or " THE CHOSEN ONE". At that time the Cavs only consisted of Zydrunas Ilgauskas a 7 foot 3 inch Lithuanian center who back in the day was a very good player. So when LeBron showed up and stole the hearts of the fans in Cleveland and all over the NBA world this nickname seemed right. He was the King while he was on bill boards on television commercials everyone wanted to be like LeBron. 

While every year, he came close LeBron always seemed to choke. Critics and fans can argue that he had no supporting cast like the rest but I have to disagree. I think every year that the Cleveland organization did whatever they could to bring in pieces to help him, whether it was Mo Williams, Antwan Jamison, Shaq and others every year they win 50+ games and they just don't show up in the playoffs. Or should I say LeBron does not SHOW UP in the playoffs. 

Now it becomes a problem for me, 

LeBron James was called the KING because he was a leader, he was the guy that was supposed to bring a title to Cleveland. While he didn't do that he was still an MVP and a top three player in the NBA. The KING status worked for him because he was the KING. The KING of Cleveland, the KING of the NBA, the KING of the world. But WHY??. He was a loser, He never did anything in the playoffs, yes his team went far a couple of times but he fell short. He didn't do much against the Spurs in the finals, He bowed out to Orlando in the Conference Semis, He was horrific in the Boston series and was the reason they lost that series. So why does he still have the nickname the KING???. I DON'T GET IT AT ALL!. Clearly he is not the CHOSEN ONE BECAUSE HES NEVER WON A CHAMPIONSHIP!

So he was a loser and couldn't win alone with a sub par supporting cast so he decides to go to Miami to play along Wade and an even bigger LOSER CHRIS " I JUST WANT TO BE A CELEBRITY" BOSH. His legacy is shot, even if he wins he will always go down as never winning alone. So still why the KING?. He is not the KING of Miami. Its Wades team, it always was and always will be.

I suggest we find LeBron a new nickname and Retire the KING, or give it to someone who deserves it like Kobe Bryant.  Why don't we call LeBron the Sidekick? or Robin? and Wades his Batman. How about the Ordinary or the Talent?.. Something else but I suggest we change his Nickname because he no longer deserves to be the KING OR THE CHOSEN ONE
