Reports linking Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar with a move to Real Madrid have been described as "nonsense" by the player's agent.

Thursday's edition of Spanish sports newspaper Marca claimed the Spanish champions were interested in signing the 25-year-old, while foreign media have gone as far as to suggest Ajax had received a bid of 25 million euros for their captain.

Huntelaar was earlier described as an Arsenal and Manchester United target as well.

Huntelaar, who scored 33 goals in 34 appearances last season, is under contract until summer 2010.
