Fantasy Football Week 3: Injuries, 'Sit Em or Start 'Em
Greetings everyone! I'm back again for more live down-to-the-wire advice, insight and commentary.
Taking a look back at last week's blog, the biggest letdown, I have to say is my endorsement of Brett Favre.
What do I think about him this week? I'm convinced—seriously I still am—that this will be the week, against the Detroit Lions, that he throws for two touchdowns.
I've even gone so as to operate my own fantasy team with a new slogan: "All Favre One, And One Favre All."
That's loyalty for you. Well, at least for this week I remain pro-Favre.
But that's the joy of fantasy football, it's only Week 3 and everyone is still in contention and we're already going back-and-forth with loving and hating players.
Week 2 lowlights:
"OH but don't worry, at least you got your Start 'Em, Sit 'Em picks right. Eli Manning and Brett Favre both had terrific games.Keep up the good work!." -Dan C.![]()
Man, that's a tough crowd out there. I totally take the blame for Brett going bananas with his three INTs and 0 TD. But Eli got fantasy owners two touchdowns. I never said he'd beat big brother Peyton.
Week 2 highlights:
Start Mario Manningham (4 receptions, 75 yards, 1 TD), Bench Michael Crabtree (1 reception, 32 yards) in favor of Derrick Mason (1 reception, 31 yards, 1 TD).
This list will be updated with Saturday evening/Sunday morning sit'em, start'em recommendations and weather and injury news to make sure your fantasy team will be ready this weekend.
