New York Jets: Rex Ryan Did The Right Thing With Braylon Edwards After DWI

Eric StrellerSep 23, 2010

This just in, Braylon Edwards is irresponsible. Oh wait, you said you already knew that? I just read an interesting, although quite ridiculous article on ESPNNewYork.com see (Slap on Edwards’ wrist is slap in face). What I find hard to believe is the fact that it’s all about the way the Jets present themselves. I do believe that they have been boastful and for that they will take scrutiny due to the massive amounts of media spotlight that is upon them.

I do however want to point something out. Hard Knocks was a way of trying to strike fear into the hearts of opponents, much like that of Mike Tyson in his heyday. If you talk the talk, sometimes you do not necessarily have to walk the walk, although let me be very clear. The Jets can walk the walk. With that being said, then we have the Ines Sainz bull crap see (In Response or DEFENSE Whichever You See it)

Now onto the most recent news; Braylon Edwards busted for drunk driving! Are you kidding me “Epic Beard Man” did something wrong!? G.T.F.O Actually Braylon is just an idiot who seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. You mean to tell me you do not think that at least 50% of  NFL players  partake and then get behind the wheel? I know those facts are not proven, but I would bet a “dollar to a donut” they are close, if not low! The Jets are now being urged to punish Edwards and they are doing so by not starting him.

I know that some people feel the same way Ian O’Connor does, but come on now, the NFL is about winning! Should he be punished? Yes and the court of law will determine that punishment, not the freakin organization. Uncle Rico and I were speaking about this yesterday and he brings up a good point when he says, “If I went out tomorrow and got a DWI, I would still go to work the next day” think about that for a minute.

After letting that marinate for a bit, think about this. If the Jets were to lose to Miami over a dropped pass and the main target would have been Edwards, but the Jets suspended him, I guarantee there would be an outcry of Jets are finished after falling to 1-2. Those same fans that wanted Edwards held out would be proclaiming the end of the Jets season. So, I agree with the Jets decision to let Edwards play, F’ em!

Rex, keep doing what your doing, Braylon stay out from behind the wheel when you are on firewater, oh and Ian O’Connor…….

G.T.F.O!
