Moving Today's Market The market is constantly moving throughout the day, and there are always a few games that receive more action than others. The Reds/Pirates game has no affect on the playoff picture, but it is getting attention in the betting world. The line opened with Pittsburgh at -137, and has since climbed to -160. Pinnacle lines show there was some buy back late this morning when it moved to -156, climbed to -160, and settled back to -157. Over 75 percent of the money is on Paul Maholm (7-7, 3.76 ERA) against the Reds and Josh Fogg (2-4, 7.98 ERA). Pirates first baseman Adam LaRoche is expected to come off the disabled list for tonight's game. Another game getting attention is Luke Hochevar (6-10, 5.54 ERA) and the Royals against the White Sox and Mark Buehrle (9-10, 3.94 ERA). Pinnacle opened with the White Sox at -191 and has moved to -185, despite 87 percent of the money line bets on the White Sox. Pinnacle is one of a handful of sportsbooks monitored by Sports Insights that has shown significant movement on this game. Other books have maintained the opening line.
