Geoff Ogilvy leads the first round of the PGA Tour Players Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta Georgia.

This could be tour win number three this year, which no one else has! Can you say Player of the Year? I thought you could.

Paul Casey also shares the lead at minus four, but will not be there come Sunday. Most of the US Ryder Cup team is playing this week, and it will be no surprise to see an American win here, as the Europeans are distracted and looking ahead.

Jim Furyk also is near the lead at minus three and is looking for three wins this season also. Another entry into Player of the Year on the PGA Tour.

Luke Donald joins him at three under par.

The last fantasy action of the weekend has my team doing alright. Hunter Mahan has been moved from the bench to replace Dustin Johnson, who left his game behind so far.

Matt Kuchar my C player is hovering around even par almost done today, while my A player,Β Phil Mickelson is at minus one.

You go, Phil.

My other guy, Charley Hoffman is at two over par, but I can't bring in Adam Scott because he is four over.

Just an average day for the boys with nothing special going on with this team.

Looking at the leader in this one is pretty pointless until the back nine on Sunday, where I will tell you who wins at that time.
