Shane Mosley VS Serigo Mora Photo Slide Show

Alright fight fans this past weekend we had one of the most exciting fight cards in a long time at the Shane Mosley vs Sergio Mora fight which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The under card was so good that many of us were satisfied enough on that alone we did not care that much that the main event turned out to be such a snooze fest.

In short, all of the obvious picks won by big knock out wins. Ponce De Leon may have the right to claim a possible knock out of the year with his big KO over Escalante in the third round where those of us from ringside saw Escalante flat on his back shivering as if the canvas was made of ice.

Victor Ortiz gets to keep his "Vicious" nick name as he lived up to the name by knocking Vivian Harris down 4 times making the referee wave off the fight, also in the third round.  The ref, like many of us in the Staples Center saw a young hungry fighter knocking down an old man off his rocker over and over again.

Then of course comes Saul Alvarez the "FUTURE" of Mexico with his biggest fight to date against the iron chinned former fighter of the year, former welter weight champion Carlos Baldomir. You would have guessed that Saul would knock Baldomir out in the third round given how the night was going but he did that in six rounds.

We all know by now that the judges ruled the main event Mosley vs Mora a draw which did not sit well with the almost sold out crowd which booed with disappointment.

Again with an exciting under card and this being Staples Center/Los Angeles, the mecca of celebrities, you can imagine what your friend KING J has in store with this photo slide show.

If you read my live twitter update on the fight. Pretty much this is what it looked like for 12 rounds. Mosley was chasing Mora. Shane was by far the more aggressive fighter pushing the action of the fight and Mora just tried to play it safe and outbox and counter Mosley.

It was great meeting the CHAMP Mia St. John. She is a real down to earth person.

I often asked myself if I could roll with any of the boys from HBO's Entourage which one would it be?

The obvious choice would have to be Lloyd, Ari's former assistant. Anyone who understands how Hollywood really operates knows the assistants of the big powerful D-Bags are the ones with the REAL power and connections and who make the real decisions. Now that Lloyd's an agent himself he will be taking over Ari's job once he retires.

No but in all seriousness Rex Lee is the MAN! Was a honor to meet him that night.

PS: The casting directors called me for the role of the Fukijama part a few seasons back but I was up in Seattle at the time and flying out to Hawaii the next day so I could not make it. But hey I'm back down in California now so. CALL ME! Wink

Newman From Seinfeld

Wayne Knight aka Newman from Seinfeld is brilliant actor. I mean when you really truly feel so annoyed by a character that means he did his part.

I remember as a kid watching him steal those top secret Jurassic Park DNA samples and sell them in the beginning of the movie and it made me so mad. That's when you know you got a GREAT Actor!

Knight is real sweet guy! Nothing like the characters he often gets casted as.
