WWE Night Of Champions: 5 Disappointing Facts About The Event!

The Jonathan CooneyySep 20, 2010

In my mind WWE's latest Pay-Per-View was decent considering their recent standards of a good event.

The Hart Dynasty and Undertaker losing was a bit of a shocker and I also feel that Dolph retaining and Danielson gaining were shockers.

Think about it The Harts showed brilliant chemestiry during their reign and are the only real proven Tag Team in the WWE.

Taker has prove his dominace in the past not only against his brother Kane, against legends like HHH, Flair, HBK and HHH.

As for Danielson, I'm not bashing him i am a massive fan I just think that WWE have finally come to their sense and thats what is quiet frankly SHOCKING!

Lets get started!

5. Alberto Del Rio not featuring at the PPV!

With a pinfall against Hardy and also gaining some excellent heat from fans worldwide, I think it is very disappointing we did'nt get to see WWE's hotest new signing!

We have been teased now on SmackDown for a couple of weeks about a possible meeting between Christian vs Alberto Del Rio!

On paper it is a brilliant match. Looking at both man attributes and the tension building up its is going to be a brilliant match.

With Hell In a Cell approaching and fast with only 2 weeks until the next PPV I suppose we can hope to see Chrstian's PPV appearence at that event. WWE could of even gave Del Rio and CC the 13 minutes that were unused at the end of the event.

It would have been better than nothing.

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: Have Alberto vs Christian, Its a no-brainer, the fans love Christian and hate Del Rio and recently they have prove they hate eachother and I am really diggin this feud and i'm sure i'm not the only one!

4. Not Featuring JoMo in the Main Event some way or another!

I can't believe WWE missed out on this one!

Jericho causes a fighting Morrisson an important match against Sheamus why could'nt the creative have JoMo come out and do something the same!

With a pinfall against Jericho and an awesome attempt vs Shemus why could'nt WWE builed on that and push the much-loved star?

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: Let it come down to Jericho and Orton, have both men playing their best and both produce their finisher's and with nothing left in the tank let JoMo come down and get some revenge against Chris Jericho!

2. Jericho being eliminated so early!

I was so en-raged when I seen Orton hit that RKO!

I was 100% sure there and then that Jericho was gone and I was right and that was such a massive pitty in my opinion.

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: Let it come down to Jericho and Orton, have both men playing their best and both produce their finisher's and with nothing left in the tank let JoMo come down and get some revenge against Chris Jericho!

2. Miz not cashing in his contract!

I dont know but... For some reason I really don't want Miz to become World Champion.

And that reason is because I love his current gimmick alot!

A cockey un-grateful typical 21st century punk in my opinion anyway.

When Cena and Orton were elavated to Main Event status WWE lost two excellent gimmick; A white arrogant rapper and a Legend Killer.

So if Miz win himself a title the chance are high that he will be giving a new gimmick, Sadly!

Miz will turn all PG like good competitors for example Vladimir Kozlov, Goldust and John Cena.

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: Allow Miz to cash it in. However, if he cashes it in and loses that adds a certain amount of un-predictabillityto the Money In The Bank Ladder Match and will also allows Orton to look stronger as a Champion.

1.5. Barrett's lack of play in the 6-Pack Challenge!

Orton and Cena looked very strong as usual and as did the odd alliance of Edge and the Celtic Warrior Sheamus.

I actually would'nt be very suprized if these two men were the next Cody Rhodes and Drew McInytre (two random competitors put together so that these two will have something to do)

As for Chris Jericho well if he lasted longer than 2 minutes i'm sure he would have shined to perfection as he has in like every other match he has had in WCW and in the WWE.

But as for Barrett he may as well of been invisible with a major lack of momentum and did not once look like he was going to win the 6-Pack Challenge and win the title.

Even though that would be brilliant it don't look like its going to happen any time soon.

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: Eliminate one of the men and let him order Nexus away from ringside to prove his main event status and his ability solo inside the squared circle.

1. CM Punk still waiting to get a win from his feud with Big Show!

I think it is very fair to say that CM Punk is one of WWE's best competitors at the moment as well as in recent time and also absoloutley 100% solid on the mic which is two things you need to be a brilliant athlete.

At the moment it is actually like Punk is jobbing to the 450+ pounder. Which makes no sense considering I strongly doubt that WWE are going to write Show in to the angle between Kane and Taker.

Its like WWE are punishing Punk for something because all the segments and matches have all been in Show's favour including a 3 - 1 handicap where Punk had the backing of the entire Straight Edge Society!

If this sham of a feud is going to continue WWE NEED to do something to take away this dominace shown by Show because it is an absoloute disgrace what is being done to a competitor of CM Punk's standards.

How Could WWE have prevented this disappointment: It is simple Punk should have got the victory plain and simple.
