Hakeem Nicks Injury: Giants Receiver Expected To Start In Manning Bowl Part 2
According to reports, New York Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks is expected to start today against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.
Hakeem Nicks reportedly suffered a mild ankle sprain, but luckily, it doesn't appear to be a serious matter. He was, though, limited in Friday's practice session.
"Early in the week it was bothering me when I'd go to the right a little bit," Nicks told the New York Daily News. "But now I'm going in every direction fine."

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He did travel with the team to Indianapolis, but in the case that he can't play, third-year pro Mario Manningham will be the replacement starter.
Nicks was made the 29th overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. Last season, he caught 47 balls for 790 yards and six touchdowns.
He became one of Eli Manning's favorite targets, and was projected to claim a more prominent role in the offense this year.
Last week, he proved that he was more than capable of doing so, as he caught an astounding three touchdown passes against the Carolina Panthers.
That being the case, fantasy owners were ecstatic and his stock value skyrocketed with the hope that his Week 1 performance would set the tempo for the rest of the season.
I'm hoping that he can recover quickly and safely from the injury, and get back to full speed as soon as possible. He's a promising talent and very entertaining to watch.
