NFL Picks Week 2: Packers, Eagles Are Locks, Dolphins Will Upset Vikings

Here's how I pick folks!  I don't play games -- the players do.  I call it like I see it, and if I get it wrong I'll apologize later.

When I opened last week I had no idea some teams would be so stupid, but that's no excuse.  I went 5-9.  In essence, the Niners, Raiders, Falcons, Chargers, and Broncos let me down.  Never letting that happen again.

Check out my picks this week.  Yes, they'll be better.  Yes, you can pick on my horrific week last week, but don't think I didn't think and I'm ready for a comeback this week.

Week 2

If the Packers don't beat the ever-loving $#%^#^ out of the Bills I'll quit on Aaron Rodgers in public.  The Bills suck and we all know it.  GB - 31  BUF - 10

Miami should give Minnesota a hard time, but I think it's more than a hard time for the Vikes.  They can't repeat last year and they know it.  MIA - 24  MIN - 14

KC snuck up on the stupid Chargers, but I still believe in the Browns.  Barely...  CLE - 13  KC - 10

I have a distaste for the Bears and I outright hate the Cowboys.  If Jay Cutler promised to stop being stupid I'd pick the Bears.  Since a promise isn't coming...   DAL - 17   CHI - 10

I don't trust the Falcons anymore, but I trust the Cards less.  ATL - 14  ARI - 7

Tampa vs. Carolina.  Pardon me while I blow chunks...  CAR - 10   TB - 6

Philly starts Mike Vick.  Detroit has one answer for that, but Ndamukong Suh doesn't run that fast.  PHI - 24   DET - 10

Ravens/Bengals could have been good if the Bengals hadn't laid down for the Patriots.  It should be tough one, but not what we thought it could be at the beginning of the year.  BAL - 24  CIN - 14

I fully expect the Titans to shove their foot completely up Pittsburgh's you-know-what today.  TEN - 34   PIT - 13

The Seahawks soundly beat my beloved 49ers, but Denver actually has something going on.  Or is Elvis Dumervil more valuable than I thought?  He is...  SEA - 17   DEN - 14

I'm going to keep believing in the Raiders because I think Al Davis died and they're hiding it in Oakland.  OAK - 24   STL - 10

The Redskins are better than I thought, but the Texans are better.  HOU - 35  WAS - 31

The Jets are phonies.  The Patriots -- I hate to say this -- are not.  NE - 31  NYJ - 13

I hate Jack Del Rio.  I hate Norv Turner, but all of north Florida hates David Garrard.  SD - 24  JAC - 13

The "Manning Bowl" will feature big brother getting well on little brother in a hurry.  IND - 37  NYG -23

I'm a lifelong 49ers fan, but I'm not stupid either.  NO - 45  SF - 10
