5 Sleepers To Add Before Tomorrow's Games

Mike RSep 18, 2010

Did you miss out on your chance to grab Brandon Jackson, Michael Vick or Mark Clayton from off the waiver wire? If so, then don't worry. There are still some decent waiver wire players that you can pick up that can help your team.

Here are 5 players available via the waiver wire that can help your team.

1. Kyle Orton (DEN)

Do you know that Kyle Orton is owned in only 40% of fantasy football leagues? Orton has a nice match up against the Seattle defense and would be a great fill in for a starter facing a tough defense this week.

2. LaRod Stephens Howling (ARI)

Who is this? He is the Cardinals backup running back behind Beanie Wells. If Wells is unable to go, look for Howling to be number 2 behind Tim Hightower. He is a nice pickup that most fantasy owners don't know about.

3. Bernard Scott (CIN)

Cedric Benson is probable for tomorrow but Scott should get some touches. He is a good player to store away on your bench for the upcoming weeks. Mike Lombardi of NFL.com calls Scott the best running back on the Bengals roster. He expects him to get more and more touches as the season progresses.

4. Mike Thomas (Jags)

Thomas is owned in just 4% of fantasy football leagues. He was the Jags leading receiver with 6 catches for 89 yards. With MSW drawing the attention of opposing defenses, Thomas may be able to put up some decent fantasy numbers.

5. Laurent Robinson (Rams)

Robinson was a disappointment last week with just 3 catches for 18 yards and 1 TD. He was however still targeted 9 times. He is still the Rams number 1 receiving option despite Clayton's big week. Robinson is the ultimate boom or bust player.
