NFL Picks: My Bold Choices for Week 2

Tyson BaileySep 18, 2010

Picks for week 2

Last week I went 9-7, Picks like Raiders, Bronco’s and Tampa were all wrong, I also got picks upset picks Houston, and Washington right. I have always believed week one is the toughest week to pick. Now that we have seen what teams really look at, on to week two?  I’m going to try something different; the team I pick to win will be in Bold.

Cardinals at Falcons – Falcons played a tough game last week against a team that knows how to win, the Cardinals did not. I think the Cardinals have too many questions across the whole roster, Falcons win Easy.

Ravens at Bengals – Last year the Bengals swept the Ravens, but that was a year where everything seemed to go right for the Bengals. Ravens are going to build off there win last week, and move to 2-0 while exposing the Bengals.

Chiefs at Browns – Who would have thought the Chiefs could start out 2-0, there not a playoff team yet, but I have to say it again, the Chiefs are heading in the right direction.

Bears at Cowboys – Both of these clubs played under rated teams last week, The Bears managed to pull it off, (but not really), and the cowboys didn’t. I think the Cowboys continue there down ward spiral, while the Bears will move on to make playoff talks a possibility in Chicago.  Not likely but let them talk

Eagles at Lions – After last week, the Vick hype is pretty high, after this week, the Vick hype will be uncontrollable.  Let’s hope Reid keeps a level head.  The Lions suffer there 2nd loss of the year, but will be the best 0-2 team in the league.

Bills at Packers – No description necessary. Packers

Steelers at Titans – This game will have Steeler fans wanting there QB back…I don’t think it would make much difference.

Dolphins at Vikings – I don’t think the dolphins were all that impressive in a win against the Bills, now they play a real team. Look for Peterson to finally get back on his game, which in turn allows Brett to look good also.

Buccaneers at Panthers – Panthers have to great running backs, and an average pass game. Both are better then anything the buccaneers can field. It should be an easy game for the panthers, but then against the panthers never seem to make any game an easy one.

Seahawks at Bronco’s – I’m not on the Pete Carroll band wagon yet, but I am defiantly in the Josh McDaniel’s is in over his head camp. Seahawks will continue to bring some joy to a city that has suffered nothing but sports misery the last few years.

Rams at Raiders – You have to think the Raiders can win this right? After getting dominated, I’m ready to jump ship from being a person that touted the raiders this offseason, but not yet. I pick the Raiders.

Patriots at Jets – How bad will the fallout be if the jet’s fall to 0-2? We will soon see.

Jaguars at Chargers – After getting beat badly by a Chiefs game that nobody thought would win, the Chargers come in against another bad team, and look like a super bowl bound team, at least for 1 week.

Texans at Redskins – both teams were under dog picks last week. The not so under dog Texans should dominate this game and continue to gain respect as a contender.

Giants at Colts – The 2nd Annual Manning bowl.  Peyton should fairly easily go 2-0 against his younger brother. As a friend likes to put it, he has big brother power; no matter how big or good the younger brother is in real life, he just can’t beat his older brother.
