Washington Redskins Shut Down Arian Foster and the Texans to Stay Unbeaten
Off of one of the biggest wins in the team’s history, the Houston Texans travel to play the Washington Redskins in week two. BetMania has posted the odds for this game and the Texans are listed as three point favorites with the total set at 44.
The Texans come into this game still glowing after a big win over their division rival in week one. The Texans stomped the Colts with a steady does of rookie running back Arian Foster. The Texans seemed to have found a superstar in Foster, who put up 231 yards and scored three times. The passing game was given a light work load with the success of the running game. Now they travel to Washington to take on the Redskins with hopes of duplicating the success they had against the Colts.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Redskins got a victory in their first game against their divisional rival, the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys had an apparent game winning touchdown called back due to a penalty in the waning second of the game. Washington won its first game but they failed to score an an offensive touchdown. The win was the first for Mike Shanahan as head coach and Donovan Mcnabb at quarterback. McNabb managed only 171 yards passing, hitting on 15 of 32 attempts without a completion longer than 24 yards, but still savors the victory. Now the Redskins will have to step up their game if they have hopes of staying undefeated and taking down the Houston Texans.
Game time prediction: This line is small for a reason and it’s because the Texans are in a huge schedule let down spot. They are coming off a big win against the Colts and they have a game against the Dallas Cowboys on deck. The Texans have been mediocre on the road and they are 1-6-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a win against the spread.
The Redskins on the other hand know that they have plenty of room for improvement so they will not rest on their laurels. The skins defense now can prepare for Foster and he will not be a surprise as he was in week one. The Redskins are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win. There is a very distinct advantage in the NFL to playing at home and right now the Texans are overvalued after their play in week one. The Redskins win again as home underdogs and boost their record to 2-0 on the season.
Final: Redskins 28 Texans 20
